“Spacious, well-appointed cottage” We really enjoyed our stay in this very spacious cottage. The location was perfect for exploring Hadrians Wall! We would definitely visit again.

“Ideal” Hazel and ian (owners) were very friendly and helpful, we were introduced to the farm animals and provided a tour of the farm facilities. Property was well described and highly recommended for self catering families. Kids really enjoyed the heated swimming pool and games barn. Nice walks nearby with less than 1 mile to Scotland's famous book town of Wigtown.

“Great location;friendly staff; first class accomodation” Everything worked well in the cottage and the play areas were well received by the children. Take soap, some bin bags and be prepared to sort your rubbish to maintain your green status. The on site walk is very good but you will need strong shoes.. The China country club is recommended as are the Notter Bridge Inn and the nearby Crooked Inn but you will need to book in advance - lots of others nearby. We enjoyed many of the Stately homes nearby and a highlight was Morewelham Quay on the Tamar with a vist to the depths of a Copper mine.

“Lovely cottage and excellent location” The cottage was to a very good standard with only a few points of decoration that required attention - fairly normal for late season - presumably they will be attended to in due course. We only had a couple of minor issues that needed attention and the very pleasant staff attended to them immediately. For us the location was excellent with easy access to the A38 (although getting out could be difficult at peak traffic times). Although they were holiday cottages it didn't feel like a holiday complex - more like a private estate. We were a little apprehensive as we normally book places that do not allow animals but we were happy that there was no evidence of dog hairs or the doggy smells you sometimes get Would definitely recommend
