“Amazing cottage in an amazing location!” We spent 1 week on the Isle of Mull staying at Taigh Ciuil. We had an amazing time. The cottage is fantastic. Great location with views over the bay. The cottage was very clean with everything you could need for a stay and everything worked without a problem. Petrea was really helpful and made the whole process of booking really easy. Detailed instructions covering everything you need to know was supplied and the directions were really easy to follow. Petrea also helped us out with some questions around some activities we wanted to do on Mull and her advice was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending staying at this fantastic cottage and will definitely be coming back. Thank you Petrea for your lovely cottage and all your help. Highly recommended!

“Just what we needed!” If you want to stay in a quirky terraced cottage that is full of character then this is the place for you. We have now stayed in Aisling Cottage four times and plan to go back for more. Conveniently situated in Tobermory,Aisling cottage initially took some getting used to as the bedrooms are the ground floor and the dining room, kitchen and front room are upstairs - making the most of the magnificent view of Tobermory harbour. The cottage is spacious by comparison to other places we have stayed in on the island and contains all a visitor needs for the duration of their stay- including internet access. There is also a pretty garden that is lovely to sit out in on sunny days - if you have time! Our only concern about sharing this review is that it may be more difficult to book the date we want for next year !!!

“Amazing as always” Back to Tobermory and Oakfield again and it was amazing as always. Lovely warm welcome from Jean and alasdair, you don't feel like you are going to a holiday rental, it's like going to visit family :) The Cottage is so well equipped, every time I think I could just do with something, Jean has already thought of it, from shoe polish to clothes pegs, the cottage has it all. We love the bird wildlife that is attracted to the garden, many a time we are late leaving for where we need to go as we have been watching the birds or we are trying to take pictures of the Sparrow hawk that occasionally visits the garden. It really is the perfect place to explore Mull, just a stones throw from the main street, with stunning views, its is most definitely the grandest house in Tobermory. We would highly recommend the Sealife Surveys boat trips, knowledgeable guides and really stunning views, and definitely do the walk to the lighthouse, but be prepared for it to be muddy! Staffa is also well worth a visit. Jean and alasdair are always on hand with local information and are always happy to help...nothing is too much trouble. We will be back soon, once you have visited Tobermory, you wont be able to stay away!!!
