“This cabin is in an excellent location to explore Texada Island.” The Sand Dollar is in an excellent central location to explore Texada Island. The large, sunny deck is perfect for watching wildlife and gazing out over the ocean. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub on the deck, and were thrilled to see dolphins in the bay. Although the cabin sleeps six, I think that would feel tight, perfect size for 2 or three people. We were a bit disappointed that the beach was down a steep bank. Not as easy as we had hoped for access to our kayaks. Other than this, a clean, quiet, peaceful, cabin. Prompt and courteous service from the owner.
