“perfect for a quiet restful holiday” perfect place to stay if looking for a quiet holiday. owners of casita were really friendly and came away feeling they were friends. accommodation clean, tidy and comfortable. Car is needed as a beautiful beach is approx. 6 miles away and the casita is located off the main routes. Happily go again, have plans to do just that.

“Peace, Relaxation and Comfort in the Orange Groves” We have been several times over the years and it just gets better and better! Lyn and Ian go out of their way to make sure your visit matches up to your highest expectations. Rural Spain at its best - 10 steps to the swimming pool from the pretty and very comfortable Casita and a few more steps through the orange groves to be alongside the famous River Ebro on its way to the sea. Ideal if you fancy fishing. The Ebro flows via Tortosa, the historic capital of the region - well worth a visit. Just 20 minutes more by car and one can be sunbathing on the beaches. Going upstream one comes to Tivenys, a friendly, typically Spanish village, positioned just before the Ebro emerges from the majestic mountain ranges that make this part of Spain so interesting. Castles to explore, festivals to enjoy, much history and of course 'menu del dia'. Thank you Lyn & Ian for always going 'that extra mile' very much appreciated and we have already arranged our next visit to stay with you both. Ed & Pauline

“Fresh modern apartment in lovely fishing village with fantastic landlady.” Having found the apartment easily (the marina opposite is an easy landmark) Cristina was on hand to greet us with a typically friendly handover. L'Ampolla is situated in a really pleasant part of the coastline outside of the main tourist belt of the region which is some 50km up the coast. The village makes an effort for tourism without feeling spoilt by it and we found everyone to be friendly and accommodating. There are several beaches to choose from all of which were fine and never overly busy. We'd recommend going the 15km down to the river Ebre for a trip on the river as an alternative day out. Excellent holiday, nice location and great service from Cristina.

“Amazing apartment” I stayed in this apartment with my sister and two grandaughters. It was large and spacious and well decorated. The apartment was on the first floor overlooking the swimming pools. We felt very safe as keys were needed to enter the complex, apartment block and room. The 2 bedrooms were large and roomy, both had bathrooms. The kitchen had every amenity including a dishwasher. The lounge was large and comfy. Contact with Ann and Peter was quick and helpful. Key man John collected us from Barcelona airport and was very knowledgble about the surrounding area. recommended a local restaurant used by locals called Las Brasas which is excellent. We walked to Port Aventura and the water park, just 5 minutes away, the beach just 10 minutes in the other direction, no need for a car. All in all it was a lovely holiday that my family wish to return too. We would definately return to this apartment.
