Lovely and good value

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay here, the outdoor space including your own private garden, bbq, garden furniture and use of the pool made it for us. Diana the host was just lovely and made us feel as if her home was our home The reason for 4 rather than 5 star rating has nothing to do with the apartment or anything under the owners control. You absolutely need a car as we needed to get about as the very close Bottom Bay (which is beautiful) was covered in sea weed so needed to get to further afield beaches, there is not a good selection of local bars, restaurants and the supermarket is a good drive away. We had 3 days of solid rain, unusual but brought home the lack of covered outdoor space and how small the indoor living space is when your stuck indoors due to the weather If and when we visit Barbados we would stay here again. Apartments nearer facilities as mentioned (better beaches, bars, restaurants etc) are at least double the price, are not of the same standard and don’t have a pool or private garden space. So stay here but be prepared to pay for a hire car and drive 30 minutes …. It’s worth it … see more

A very spacious property , very well equipped kitchen and a large variety of yoga mats, weights etc. Water sports also catered for. Outside area was ideal for eating outside and relaxing in the evening. Pool and area around was wonderful Plenty of loungers, seating and water beds. My wife and I stayed at the villa from 02/09/2013 to 30/09/2013, of all the places we have stayed in Barbados this is the first place we have re-booked for the following year. First of all the photographs do not do the place justice, it is very clean and well kept. Sylvia and Wesley will do all they can to to accommodate you in what ever you want. Mauva and Phillip who look after the place are just as willing to help, Mauve phones you regularly to check that very thing is fine, to be honest we can not praise Mauve and Phillip enough. We had a small complementary food hamper on arrival which included two bottles of Bank's which we were ready for after our long flight from the U/K. The pool is great and it is cleaned twice a week. Quiet location providing a tranquil environment to recharge energy. Wonderful main living space with high ceilings, lots of light and cooling breezes. Comfortable bedrooms. Surrounded by garden with a wonderful yoga deck to start the day facing the rising sun, and a hammock under the palm trees. Safe area to be able to walk to the nearby cliff top or a longer walk to the beautiful beach at Foul Bay. Location was perfect for us. The view from the living room, bedroom, and pool was amazing! It was close enough for us to walk to the Foul Bay beach, where we were daily challenged by the 121 steps down and 121 steps back up. Good exercise for two 60 year olds. The apartment was the right size for the two of us and Cesily was accomodating to meet our needs. … see more
