“Super stay in Cornwall” Gail was very helpful and couldnt do enough to help. Holiday park was great with a lot of entertainment provided. Accommodation was fairly small and cosy but adequate to use as a base to travel to some great nearby places. First time for us on a holiday park but would definitely come again.

“Beautiful location” The house was very warm, clean and inviting on arrival with some scones, bread and tea and coffee as an added surprise after a long drive. The house had wonderful views from the lounge and front bedroom. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything from utensils through to dishwasher tables, sponges and tea towels. We have stayed in many holiday rentals where none of these basic items are provided and it was wonderful to have these items already stocked for arrival. We did have a problem connecting with the WiFi but this was quickly rectified by contacting Rachel and this wasn’t an issue throughout the rest of our stay. The only two issues that we had was that we only managed to get parked in a designated parking bay 50% of the time, meaning we had to park on double yellow lines for the rest of the time. As we were out of season we weren’t particularly concerned about getting a parking ticket however during the high season I can imagine this being a problem and possible one that would stop us returning in the high season. The other issue was with the double mattress. It was incredibly uncomfortable, we could feel the springs and each night it felt like we kept rolling into the middle with no support. I would like to add on a positive note, that we had a delightful stay in a wonderful property.

“Lovely people, wonderful home” I found out about Little Haven from a friend and was told how lovely it was. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly and helpful key holder and began our exploration of the accomodation. Every room was lovely, the contrast between the older and newer areas is quite charming. The large kitchen had every possible convenience and utensil. Every room is well appointed, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The outside patio and decking areas offer extended living areas with views over the well kept garden and estuary views beyond. Ample parking is available for several cars within the gated garden. Several local pubs offer good dining and many local ales. A few minutes walk leads to the local railway station from where the picturesque ride into St Ives takes around ten minutes. All in all a superb holiday home and definately one to recommend and, hopefully, revisit.

“Cosy and comfortable hideaway in the centre of St. Ives” I was lucky enough to spend 3 nights here in early June; the cottage is really welcoming and tucked-away in a peaceful corner fo St.Ives but just 2 mins walk from the shops and 5 mins from the beach. Comfy bed in a sunlit bedroom, comfy sofa and fab bathroom with an amazing shower ! Everything you need and more. Will definately stay again. Top tip there is a car park which is less than 5 mins away up a set of steps which is council run and cost effective.

“The most perfect St Ives holiday location !” Gwithian's Reach is ideally located for a holiday in St Ives. Beaches, cliff walks, pubs, restaurants are all easily within walking distance - in fact we never used the car once all week and the off-street parking was a true bonus! Having renovated numerous properties ourselves, we really appreciated the attention to detail that has been applied here. Just perfect for either a summer or winter break!

“Stunning view and beautiful apartment” This apartment has everything you need for the perfect stay in Carbis Bay. Particularly liked the finer touches which really raised this apartment to another level i.e. underfloor heating, very comfortable bed, superior quality bed linen, towels, fixtures and fittings, it really does make a difference. And the sea view was incredible. The walk down to the beach and back need a certain level of fitness but there are several beaches in St Ives that can be reached by the little train or by bus from the main St Ives road, a short walk from the apartment. There is also a lovely coastal walk to St Ives which is not too strenuous (read the blog sent with your welcome email for directions to this). There are a few very good restaurants within walking distance of the apartment (we particularly liked La Calista and The Cornish Arms serves standard pub grub which is also good). Also plenty of excellent restaurants in St Ives and Ace taxis charge about £6.50 for the journey home if you cant face the walk after a night out. We would definitely stay again and can highly recommend.

“A wonderful stay in a fantastic apartment with an unforgettable view” We had a wonderful time in Pednolver Apartment 2 with our two teenage boys. The apartment was beautifully appointed with great, modern amenities, and the view was fantastic! Mark was extremely helpful, polite and friendly during our stay and nothing was too much trouble. He was also very prompt and friendly in communicating with me during the booking process. The goodies in the apartment were also a wonderful welcoming touch, and very generous! St Ives was a fantastic place to stay and we loved going down to the harbour (a short walk) for dinner, ice-creams and shopping. Even though we live so far away (in Australia) we would love to visit St Ives again and would stay in Pednolver Apartment 2 again without a doubt.

“Perfect Cornish Gem” The Old Chapel was everthing we wished for in Location and accommodation for a holiday in Cornwall and a family wedding in St Ives, The owner has provided every home comfort and necessity you could think of. The house was spotless and furnished to very high standards, with the bonus of sea views as it is situated above St Ives and Carbus bay . The property is fairly close to a quiet (it was the week we were there ) touring caravan park, you are permitted to make use of the large heated outdoor pool, although we didn't really make /have time to fit in a swim. The owners have lovely guest manuals with details of some of the stunning walks in the area. I would suggest making use of the local bus or taxi company's which are very reasonably priced and take just a few munutes as the parking in St Ives is a nightmare or better still take the 25 min walk down and transport back up. Decent local supermarkets are just a few minutes away down the hill. Our one regret was we were a week too early for the re-opening of the Village pub, which has excellent guest reviews. Would definitely stay here again.

“Best view of St Ives from every room” As a frequent (6 times a year) visitor to St Ives, I can honestly say this is one of, if not the best, places that I have stayed. On a practical level it has parking which when coming in peak season with a dog. I could drive to Porthkidney Sands each day without the worry of losing my space! The apartment is also central, just a few minutes walk and you are in the midst of the town. Mark had laid on an excellent welcome pack of scones, shortbread and saffron cake which was very welcome indeed when I arrived at 10pm - it even had home-made dog biscuits, a really nice touch. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen and a proper bathroom (so many holiday places do not have a bath, but in this one you can have a bath and still enjoy the views at the same time!). The double aspect living area was a delight. Best of all was the roof deck. The weather was scorchio and I laid for hours just watching the goings on in the harbour - a true break from the hectic pace in London. I'll be back!

“The most perfect view ever” This apartment is in a great location with great views. It has parking which is great in St Ives. Just a short walk down some steps and you are in the town. The apartment itself is very homely and stylish, comfortable and pleasing to the eye. Well equipped kitchen, lovely massive bathroom with the most powerful shower, comfortable beds, very clean, nice furnishings and the best of all the views are to die for. You could sit all day and never get bored as you can see the whole harbour and all the goings on. And the owner is lovely and very helpful.
