“Excellent Stay at this house” We found the house to be very accetable, it fit our needs as far as beach , fishing, and travel,it was great to get up in the morning cook in the large kitchen and be able to sit down to a meal with everyone together, there was few minor drawn backs tho the garbage wasn't picked up while there maybe we didn't understand the schedual, there was lack of sharp cutting knives as the chef didn't bring his along, we actually had two chef's along, and one short order cook but everything else was great. I would recommend this house to anyone and have so far, we are planning to use it again next year, but could you do lil something with the weather, just a tad bit warmer would be great ahahaha, just kiddding on that.We Had one of the most enjoyable vacations there this year and i have been coming to Outer Banks for 13 yrs.Didn't even mind the skeeters as we had none but few.

“Good family time” Really liked the early check in. But the outside furniture was very dirty(had to scrub most chairs before we could use them) and fingerprints were all over glass doors as well as sand in the lower level main room. Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. Had not left enough towels(only had 2 hand towels) and only two of the pillows in the whole place had pillowcases on them. These things were taken care of the next day after we called but it was not pleasant sleeping with pillows with no cases the first night. Also the internet did not work and was not even addressed until 3 days after we arrived even though we called many times about it. One person had to go to Starbucks(twice) to use the computer for business that he had hoped to do from the house--bummer. Even after an attempt was made to correct the internet problem, only one of the 3 computers that were brought could get any kind of signal. One of the tvs did not work at all and one controller was missing. Loved having 2 dishwashers and the configuration of the upstairs was really great. Loved all of the counter space. The views of the ocean were great and location of house could not be better. All bathrooms were well equipt and we did not miss having individual bathrooms with each bedroom as much as we thought we would. Cute hot tub--very adequate. Plenty of parking space and great driveway for the kids to ride their bikes. Beds were comfortable and the location is a very quiet one-can not hear any road noise.

“Rum Runner - Best House Ever!” Once I decided to rent Rum Runner, the Outer Banks Blue staff were very attentive to my questions about the property and desires to make our rental week the best it could be. Well done! And, I thoroughly appreciated the remote check-in and check-out process. Didn't spend one second of my vacation fetching or returning house keys to the rental agency. Rum Runner is such an awesome property. Every bedroom is large and well-appointed, the common living spaces are large and numerous, and the kitchen is to-die-for. The elevator came in very handy for moving in/out and absolutely necessary to one of our guests who'd undergone a recent knee surgery. We simply could not have hoped for a more beautiful home than Rum Runner. The home's location is extremely convenient to grocery and other types of shopping and restaurants. In many past years, I always stayed in Duck or Corolla, and I dreaded the slow crawl up and down Rt 12 to get any shopping done. That is not an issue with this house's location. Also, the private walk to the beach was a breeze. My overall impression about my week at Rum Runner was one of relaxation in a beautiful home and setting. My favourite moment was each morning with a steaming cup of tea in hand, seated on the top deck, watching the sun rise over the ocean. Undoubtedly, the best week at the Outer Banks I've ever had!

“Great Family Fun!” My family and I recently stayed at the Dolphin Inn and could not have been more satisfied with our experience. The house was very clean and well kept, kid friendly activities were nearby, and the owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. Jorge is very friendly and wants to ensure you have the best vacation possible while staying at his house. He keeps in touch with you and offers much advice on where to dine and where to go for fun activities, especially for the children. Whenever I called him, he could not be happier to help answer any questions I had. We did have an issue with the hot tub not working when we first arrived and he was able to have it fixed within 2 days, amazing turnaround time...with that said, we definitely will be returning for another family vacation next year!

“Perfectly appointed” The house was well appointed with great surprises at every turn. If you like to eat in at the beach as we do, flip flop was terrific. We made waffles with the waffle iron, blender drinks with dinner, grilled seafood regularly and used the hot tub daily. Our kids loved this house, they could spread out on the three floors, had plenty to do from the great movie selection to the game room with video games and darts. The beach was a short walk or ride away. The master bedroom was massive and private, everything was just delightful. The owners were great and the house feels like home as soon as you arrive.
