Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Hopefully next time we can stay longer.....” We have just returned from our first trip to the Seychelles and this will definitely not be our last! This was in no small part due to the fabulous accommodation we had in Maison 199, Eden Island.
Travelling as a family of four this maison provided plenty of space for our 17 year old daughter to find a balcony or lounge for some 'time alone' when the parents and 10 year old sister became a tad irritating (or was that the other way round)?
The private swimming pool was a hit at the end of a day of boating, snorkelling or exploring the island. Most evenings we cooked outdoors on the gas barbeque, overlooking the beach directly in front of the unit, still being able to keep an eye on our youngest who spent the evening swimming in the warm pool.
It was a little too humid for us to run, so the well-equipped and air conditioned gym was a hit.
Whilst the maison had everything we needed, including air conditioning in all rooms, it was the overall quality and comfort of the unit and the pleasant cleaning staff that enabled us to really relax.
Eden Island could not be better positioned as the airport is a few minutes away and the island was easy to explore by car or by boat.
Hopefully next time we can stay longer.....
“One month stay in paradise” We stayed in the basement appartment for one month and it was great! It suited our needs perfectly since we were doing thesis study in the capitol Victoria, which is only ten minutes by bus from Anse Etoile. The bus station is just down the road were you also will find two small shops.
The area is very calm and though the guest house lies close to a school this is not a problem since you are mostly away during the day. We would describe the basement appartment as spartanly luxurious, you will have everything essential like a washing machine and ok kitchen but not much more. The garden is absolutely lovely with many fruit trees like banana, papaya and pomelo, be sure to try out the coconuts too! Buy a fish from the market and have a barbeque in the garden is also a thing we recommend.
Our stay in the Seychelles was truly great and the stay at Chant d'Oiseau suited our needs perfectly. The hosts are really helpful and will assist when needed. Only downside might be that there isn't a beach close by, but there are some really great ones 30 min walk away. If staying on Mahé you will probably rent a car, or go around by bus like we did for 5 rupees a trip, and then you will surely visit a lot of beautiful beaches!
