“Tranquil retreat.” Brill Log Cabin situated in quiet and tranquil location ,with easy access to all points North and West.Very cosy and very special when log fire light,excellent facilities throughout just one wee point could do with larger sofa for comfort.The red squirrels see from the dining table just sets you up for the day,would definitely return in the near future.

“Beautiful location” This cottage is in a stunning location with beautiful views. It was well equipped with everything we needed. It was lovely and clean on arrival and the bedding smelt so fresh! It was very handy having the small shop/filling station across the road. There was also a nice walk next to the cottage to take our dog for an evening stroll. Donalda, the cottage owner was friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“The Retreat on Paradise Lane” Stayed here as working in Elgin and it proved to be a great choice. The house is clean, warm and quiet. The wifi works easily and the shower is great. The bed is so comfy I slept for 9 hours each night! There is a parking space at the front of the house off the road. The beach is not far away and is great to run or walk along stretching 2 and a half miles to the west. Morag is close by and very helpful. The dishwasher, washing machine and cooker all work well although if you are looking to eat out there are options close by too.

“Fantastic apartment with charming helpful hosts” This is our second time staying in the Old Surgery and we love this charming spotlessly clean well equipped apartment . The beds were extremely comfortable and there were lots of little touches to make use feel welcome.The apartment is in a great location within walking distance to everything including bars and restaurants. I left some of my personal items within the apartment and when I contacted the owners Trish and Bruce they very kindly posted my belongs back to me. Thank you so much.

“Gorgeous little cottage !” Just had a perfect stay in this lovely cosy cottage . It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything needed . On the doorstep are lots of shops and restaurants and only a short drive to the coast . We shall hopefully be back next year ! “A delightful old cottage” This is a real gem of a cottage for up to 5 people. The location in the heart of the East Neuk of Fife is perfect for exploring the delights of the Kingdom of Fife. The cottage itself is full of charm with 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen. Nice open plan lounge and dining room and a powerful shower in the bathroom. We were 3 golfers and this cottage was ideal - only 5 minutes from Elie GC, 15 minutes from Crail GC and 20 minutes to St Andrews. Julie the owner is an excellent host and took care of all our arrangements with a very friendly and warm hospitality. This is a place that I would recommend 100%

“Amazing views and lovely house” These are surely some of the best views in St Andrews from both front and back of the house. The house is clean, well equipped and stylish and very comfortable. It is only a short walk to the shops, restaurants and town centre (5-10mins if that) so the location is excellent. East sands is closest but West sands are only 10-15mins walk along the seafront. Open plan nature of the first floor sitting and kitchen area is great. St Andrews is a great location and there is more to it than just the golf!

“Perfect family vacation in Scotland” We are family of five (parents and three boys aged 13, 11 and 6) from Luxembourg and had the pleasure of spending a week at the Shieling during the Easter Holidays in 2014. What a spectacular place: the first impression is of course the superb view from Lucklawhill over St Andrews and the sea. The Morrisons were kind to meet us in St Michaels and after arrival showed us around the house which was in excellent condition. The open area kitchen and living room provided a nice place to have meals and enjoy the view. We also loved the outdoor barbeque and fireplace with a seating area where we could enjoy the evening sun and have an al fresco dinner that is quite rare for Scotland in April. We were very lucky with the weather as well! The two bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and offered a good night’s sleep for all of us. It was nice to wake up to the sound of the birds. The WiFi and children’s TV channels were also valuable in particular in the mornings when the parents wanted to sleep a bit longer… Overall the house could not have been better. We were impressed of the architecture, the comfortable furnishings and the garden with the outdoor seating area. We will definitely come back to enjoy staying at the Shieling and visiting the lovely Scottish nature in the area as well as the great golf in St Andrews.

“Lovely well equipped house if a bit quirky” This house is in a great location about 5 minutes away from the shops so you don’t hear traffic all day. Admittedly, there is trains but they are fun to watch especially the steam engine that passes each day. Having a separate dining room, kitchen and living room was great as it meant our large group wasn't tripping over each other. The kitchen was remarkably well stocked – every implement we could think of was there, which gave us a lot of freedom in the kitchen. In addition, there was in fact two fridges and a freezer. I must also do a shout out here for the quality of the non-stick pans as they could have an egg fried on them without oil. The living room has Skye which is nice for the evenings (and therefore there is a HDMI at the house if you want to plug a laptop in). Also, the sofas are recliners and very comfy to relaxing in in an evening. The reviews of the two double beds are that you sink in and do not want to leave (can confirm) but as people have said there is a shower and a toilet in one of the rooms. We were pleasantly surprised how unobtrusive the toilet was – although you would want the privacy of the room to yourself when going. In addition, the shower downstairs was bliss and had greater pressure than the upstairs one. The garden was beautifully kept and has a very sturdy summer house in the corner. The lawn was large enough that we could play games such as piggy-in-middle easily. As for Aviemore, it is the perfect location for all manner of outdoor activities but many are made infinitely easier by having a car with you.

“A very comfortable "home from home" holiday.” This farmhouse is well equipped with good quality furnishings and equipment. It is very comfortable, clean and warm. The position is quiet and convenient with amazing views. We have stayed in several houses now and this so far has been the best. We hope to stay again very soon. Only one downside was that the pillows were not particularly comfortable.

“Cute and cosy cottage” Had a lovely relaxed short break at this cosy little cottage. Was ideal for the two of us to explore the “East Nuek” and chill out in the evenings. Everything was included that you would need fo your stay, with little touches of luxury thrown in (underfloor heating in bathroom and bath). Would come back to this cottage any time.

“Simply Wonderful!” Easthaven is a wonderful property with everything a family needs for a super holiday! Clean, warm and bright with a real family feel, it had the best kitchen we’ve ever been to (we can’t think of a utensil that wasn’t supplied!) with a fantastic garden and views and brilliant walks from the door. The beds were super comfy too, something that you never really know until you arrive! The harbour was our favourite place watching all the fishermen and wildlife. Arts and crafts abound in the area and the Pittenweem hub is so handy for forgotten items just down the road! The Dory bistro and gallery on the harbour was wonderful too serving the catch is the day! A truly magical place with lots to see and do!

“Amazing house, pity about the ants!” Amazing house to stay in but unfortunately it was spoiled slightly with the ants in the kitchen! Turned cooker on and they were everywhere! We were celebrating a special anniversary meal and had to deal with ants, not ideal. The owner did say they had dealt with them but obviously not fully. Apart from that the house is amazing with beautiful views from two of the bedrooms. Garden lovely but not child friendly. We did enjoy our stay.
