“AMAZING SPACE! MAGICAL GETAWAY IN THE TREES! Even has a cat cemetary from the 1800's!” Let me start by saying what a fantastic weekend we had! myself and 13 of my friends stayed in the Argyll Barn property and from the first moment we walked through the door we knew we had stumbled on to something special! The house is even better than the pictures and descriptions, the amenities are fantastic, the pool, hot tub, games rooms ect all marvellous! and not only this but it was great value for money! Despite other properties being on the estate we found it very peaceful, the surrounding areas are breath taking! and as stipulated it even had its own piece of odd history in the form of a cat cemetery from the 1800's! I couldn't recommend this place more and we intend to go back for further holidays at this same location in the same house! The house, the site, the feel of the land, it allows you to forget the world and truly relax in such a picture perfect location. The house owner John was really helpful with anything we needed, he went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our stay went well, great communication, great attitude, He was an absolute pleasure!

“A truly wonderful place to stay!!!” We absolutely loved our stay at Logie Country House!!! A huge, extremely comfortable house, where every detail has been thoughtfully taken care of. Immaculate, pleasant, warm, comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is superb! We loved that there were two places to "hang out" in the house, and even when the weather wasn't wonderful, and we stayed in all day -- we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I absolutely loved my bedroom and looked forward to curling up under the down comforter with my book each night. We would love to stay again!

“Fantastic cottage in a wonderful location.” Having had a stressful few weeks we needed a cottage that would provide us with a relaxing and tranquil holiday. Nia Roo was just what we needed. The owner gave us a friendly welcome and showed us around, giving us advise and tips plus a cake, flowers etc. She lived a few minutes up the road and stressed that she was available if we needed her, which was nice to know. The cottage was very well equipped, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Three spacious bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms and a terrific kitchen allowed us (parents and 2 teenagers) to spread out. It also had the most stunning views and we spent many happy hours in the sunroom watching the hills and loch changing in the light. The house does not have a garden (although had table and chairs outside) but has a large area of gravel around it. It is also built into the side of a hill and there is a steep drop at the front of the house which could be a problem with small children. There is not a great deal to do in the area unless you like stunning scenery, castles, walking, exploring etc. Visits to Skye, Applecross for lunch, Eileen Donan castle and Fort Augustus were our highlights. Shopping was also a bit of a challenge and we went to Inverness and bought enough food for the whole two weeks (great idea to have a freezer) but you could manage to get enough at the Co-op in the Kyle of Lochalsh (about 10 miles away) and buy milk/bread locally. However, for a lovely place to chill out, read, watch TV and admire the views I don't think you could find a better holiday home. Highly recommended!

“Superb !” Brilliant views yo relax and unwind with the family! Hit tub was a winner ! Cabin was immaculate, lovely touches fresh towels laid on the bed for checking in. Would 100% recommend.

“Paradise” Glorious location, near the northern tip of Scotland. 10 minute walk to the sea. Beautiful scenery. Hundreds of acres of countryside and genuine fresh clean air. Quiet & secluded. Peaceful and relaxing, yet dozens of activities for the restless: indoor swimming, biking, countryside walks, wildlife, shooting, whisky tasting, historical castle, sailing (during our summer visit), and I've left out dozens of other activities. Stayed there 4 times in the winter and once in the summer. Cannot recommend it highly enough. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time every time, and in all variations of weather. We've been with friends and family: everybody thoroughly enjoyed it, from the babies in their buggies to my elderly uncle in his eighties. My deepest regret: we cannot go this summer.

“Great place for people with kids!” Just brilliant! The accomodation had everything we needed, Claire and Paul were so helpful and showed us everything. Our son loved feeding the goats and visiting them every day. The swimming pool was a real bonus and the swings and trampoline too! We loved exploring the local area and found some fab cafes and walks. Would love to visit again. Felt very safe during covid with hand sanitizer stations. We found more than enough to do with our toddler even in the current climate with lots of museums etc closed!

“Cracking Stay” Paul and Claire are the loveliest people. The accommodation was perfect for what we wanted. It was a father and son week away. We stayed in a very tidy 1bed barn conversion. There was a pullout sofa bed in the lounge, Log burner and open plan to the kitchen diner with bathroom off the entrance. The pool was fantastic. Warm and very well marked for safety with a cordon for the non swimming end. We went fishing, deer stalking and motor cross riding along with general site seeing. We will be going back in the future.
