“Excellent stay” This spacious bungalow is located in the centre of Grantown on Spey. Excellent spacious accommodation. The owner is very helpful and we had a very enjoyable stay over New Year. Super location with great local restaurants and amenities. Great gateway town for the Highlands.

“Superb cottage” A beautiful 4 bedroom cottage with spectacular views of Skye, Eigg, Muck and Rùm. It has two sitting rooms one of which has patio doors that lead to a very large decking area with a table and chairs to relax at. It also has two bathrooms one of which has a large bath and both have also got separate shower cubicles. The kitchen is large and has nice fittings and another large glass table and chairs. This would suit 8 people if required although there was just the two of us staying there. Hope to be back in the near future.

“Accommodation” The accommodation was really cozy and comfortable. Great area to walk/cycle or just relax. Could do with new cushions for the settees as the ones there are past their best(no support). Other than that recommend this accommodation.

“Lovely cottage” This was our second stay at birchtree cottage and we had another marvellous time. The property is lovely and the upgrades to en suite and family bathroom are lovely. We had friends join us this time and they very much enjoyed their stay too. We will definitely visit again.

“Cosy Cottage” Had a lovely stay at this cottage, highly recommend, very warm and comfortable especially in the winter months, great coming in for a day skiing to a warm cosy cottage, plenty of living space and everything you need if staying in to cook a meal. Imagine this would be wonderful to stay in the summer as the garden was lovely, plenty of space to eat outside and even a bbq. Great stay and will book again.

“Fantastic home from home in Aviemore” Weekend visit during August bank holiday with extended family. We stayed in the house with 4 adults and 1 child (aged 12). Right from the off our rental was very straightforward, with the owner David very quick to respond to emails. The house itself was absolutely perfect and met our every need for our stay. We've stayed in a number of holiday rentals and this one is probably the best we've stayed in. Everything you need is there, including PS3 for children, DVD player, wifi and even Apple TV! Location wise, it's part of the Dalfaber estate, meaning it's only a 10 minute walk through to the centre of Aviemore. If you're visiting Aviemore for the first time, try to get someone to show you the back road to Dalfaber estate - it'll save you time. We loved our stay here and will definitely visit again. Craigie View is highly recommended.

“The most wonderful place to unwind” Good facilities. Comfortable beds. Efficient heating system - much appreciated as weather down to 3 degrees again for much of the time. Unbelievable views from the conservatory - across the loch to the Hebrides - and watching the shepherd with his dog bringing up the sheep many a morning.

“The perfect family cottage to explore Orkney” A lovely wee 'hoose' that was ideal for our needs. A great location (20 mins to Kirkwall, 20 mins to Stomness) with all tourist attractions easily accessible by car. The accommodation was well equipped, warm, spacious and comfortable. Wendy was very warm and welcoming - thanks for the wine, cheese & biscuits! Our kids had a great time and we'll definitely be back!

“The cottage was very comfortable and most important extremely clean.” The house was a really nice place to stay, my grand daughter was "over the moon" with her room,especially with the lovely sleigh bed.! It is a house we would definitely go back to. There was a lovely welcoming food pack on the table when we arrived. First glance I had of the cottage when I was looking for somewhere to stay I was interested. Especially with the beautiful mountains behind. I checked out the inside of the house and booked it straight away. We all had a lovely holiday in a lovely house .I love SKYE and WESTER ROSS, the scenery is stunning.

“Great digs for a weekend of climbing.” Stayed here with 4 other mates for a weekend climbing in the Cairngorms. Ideal accommodation comfortable for all, especially me who got the master ensuite! Had cracking weather for a couple of the days so was a able to utilise the bbq facilities. Nice quiet accommodation a short and pleasant walk from train station/main street. Highly recommended and would stay again. Ideal for family, couple or small groups.

“Amazing holiday!” We loved our stay! The house is a quaint bungalow, very rustic feeling and that's what we wanted and loved! The garden was full of birds and plants and the little ones loved starting everyday feeding the birds. We spent more time looking out at the views than anything else while in the house. We didn't take many toys but they didn't care, the house had plenty of space for them to run off energy in bad weather and lots around for better weather. The park is 2 minutes walk over the road the beach about 5. Within a 10 minute drive there's a stunning waterfall walk, an abundance of boat trips to see the local wildlife, a museum with loads of interactive bits for the kids and even a golf course. Plenty of places to eat overlooking the views, I can't stress how stunning this area is! The only downside is the nearest supermarket us 1.5 hours away, and local shops are a bit pricey as usual. As long as you can get your main shopping on the way in there is lovely takeaways to enjoy and a few local shops to treat yourselves with less than a 10 minute walk away. The house has a well stocked kitchen for any cooking you'd want to cook and an abundance of ways to keep you warm. Very cosy beds with thick blankets and curtains that keep out the light. We did have a couple of issues but Ross was easy to get hold, very helpful of and made sure it got sorted. Locals are absolutely lovely aswell. We will definitely be returning.

Not much open when we went but still found plenty to do. Lovely cottage would definitely go back later in the year to do the things we didn't manage on this visit.

“Lovely accommodation in a lovely setting.” Island View is a lovely holiday home with fantastic views across Small Isles Bay on Jura. The 'Beach Holiday' themed decor is fun and tasteful. All the facilities are good, the kitchen well equipped, everything thought through well. The accommodation was warm, clean, light and spacious. The location is fabulous, right next to the sea - wonderful to watch an otter playing right outside. We have thoroughly enjoyed two holidays there and will be back next year!

“A relaxing holiday.” The cottage was perfectly situated on the Peninsula overlooking the lake. Everything needed was in the cottage and it was clean and tidy. The garden was a nice added benefit and secure for the dog. Just one only point is the cottage didn't get any sun at all in the living area, so could feel quite cold, even when sun was out. The woodburning stove was a great asset for somewhat chill evenings.

“Spacious, comfortable and convenient” I stayed at Dingieshowe Cottage during Easter 2015. The cottage was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped for my wife and I and our 2 young sons. We had everything we needed on hand to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The property is very well managed and in very good condition. It was also helpful to have a garden and parking facilities. The cottage is located 100 yards from the Glazert hotel - and close to shops. All in all a great and comfortable base for exploring the surrounding area.
