“Sandown 2020” Not been to the IOW or Sandown for many years and was somewhat shocked to see the very poor state of the town and its buildings. Perhaps the new hotel on the front will bring more visitors. Overall we enjoyed our stay our week in the boathouse. The property was as described but in need of some minor improvements, especially the safety, none of the electrical appliances had been tested and approved. No fire blanket in the kitchen and no 'In the event of a fire notice' Extractor fan hood in need of a deep clean. Unable to use the ground floor shower (broken door) which the owners were aware. Very poor communications with the owers pre-arrival and during our stay.

“Great place to stay” The first thing to comment on is the owners, they were brilliant throughout the whole process, from booking to the stay. They always reply with helpful answers. The apartment is in a great location, close to the beach and the roads. The apartment itself is a proper home, with loads of extras, such as games, books,CD’s and the like. Spotlessly clean and no need to have any COVID concerns There was a very minor problem that was resolved straightaway I would not hesitate to stay again, nothing to fault Thanks for providing us with a great place to stay post lockdown.
