“A dream. This sanctuary that gave me healing, laughs, and a life” I would never have imagined the effect a sanctuary like Sevilla Villa would have gifted me on my 1st trip to Jamaica. My group and I were astonished the moment we stepped through the threshold of the Villa. As I entered through the front door the weight of traveling and trip preparation melted from my shoulders. Greeted by a sitting Buddha statue that was accompanied by the back drop of the spacious pool, and then a second all encompassing backdrop of the ocean (which is only a short walk from the villa), I knew I had lucked out with this reservation. A spacious communal living area which gracefully links bedrooms that offer plenty privacy and natural light. I merely only needed to take steps from my room to the pool area. Every morning I was greeted with a view of green vegetation with the backdrop of the ocean. I recommend allowing the kitchen staff to cook authentic Jamaican food for you. Miss Monica and Paulette fed us healthy, yummy, and delicious food day in and day out during my stay. This food allows you to eat your fill and feel wonderful about doing so. My group and I actually became healthier on this vacation due to the food that the Villa cooked. It has been weeks since I was there and I still think about the meals. As for the delightful host and owner Clare, her laugh and hospitality put me at ease as a vacationer and guest in her home. If you get a chance, she has great stories to share about her life growing up in africa. Great diner conversation! She has become near and dear to my heart. Sevilla Villa was a dream of which all other villas will be measured.
