Traveling businessmen, families, writers and artists retreat. In a small Alpine village near the Slovenian-Austiran border. With a view of the Alps offering a peaceful set of mind.

The house is fully set for 6 people to live comfortably with everything you usually have at home + an infrared sauna, extra quality beds, wooden fireplace, bar room and outdoor multiversatile grill and a big porch. You have a covered parking space for 2 cars, your own driveway and a swimming pool in summer months.

The region is bordering Austria, with Alps marking the border. It is a natural barrier between two mountain ranges. The Alps (alovenina=Kamnisko savinjske Alpe) and Karavanke.

It is known to have the nature mostly still intact. Besides some local cattle there isn't much farming. It used to be a trail for woll and other traders who went to sold their produce in the city of Klagenfurt (slovenian=Celovec).

Zgornje Jezersko

The area is known for it's mountain lake, several smaller waterfalls, the Alps and it's hiking routes, cycling, free to drink mineral water, pure green nature with probably the cleanest air in the whole area. The Village sits 950m high and has the smell of alpine flowers. It's like being in the mountains, as you are surrounded by rocky hilltops and other wood covered hills. The Village has surprisingly 562 ingabitants. The Village centre is 2 km away from the house.

I history this Village was known for being a healing center for eyesight due to it's green landscape and exceptionally clean air.

The alpine village offers different daily activities you can do. From half hour walk to the nearby lake, to going up steep mountains or even climbing. We also have an adrenaline park. Bicycling and hiking is very popular amongst Slovenians, so you are welcome to join us.

What can you expect, is a quiet village life, a small step away from the vibration of the city area. Though the village is 30 km from the neares city, it has a small market, a hotel, a gas station and 3 restaurants, enough to provide the basics.
