This modern apartment sits in a sunny position on a wooded mountain side at Bruckberg just outside Zell am See. From the South facing front balcony there are truly panoramic views over a 32 hole golf course towards Kaprun and the surrounding mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. At the centre of this vista is the mighty 3200m Kitzsteinhorne with its glistening glacier. See photo 3 and 4.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed with bed side tables plus wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bedroom 2 has two single beds with bedside tables plus a wardrobe with hanging space and drawers. The single beds are normally positioned next to each other to form a double bed. If preferred these beds can easily be separated to revert to two separate single beds .
Both bedrooms have patio windows / doors that open onto the West facing balcony with magnificent views. .
The apartment has 2 Bathrooms.
Bathroom 1 has a full size bath with shower attachment , toilet and hand basin.
Bathroom 2 is a spacious wet floor shower room with toilet and basin.
The Kitchen is fully fitted with all necessary equipment and utensils.
The Dining area has a table for 6+.
From the dinning area a patio door opens on to the South facing front balcony which has a table and chairs for dining alfresco or relaxing in the sunshine
to taking in the views and/or enjoy a glass of wine.
The lounge area has floor to ceiling widows facing the South and the West, perfect for taking in those beautiful mountain views.
Here in the lounge area are 2 three seater leather settees ,one of which can be converted easily into a good size double bed,
There is of course a 40" Cable TV+DVD and a separate radio/cd player.
The apartment has Wireless Broadband access and full underfloor heating throughout to give a cosy warm apartment to come home too.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE OWNERS JUNE 2017
We feel it is important to inform our guests and anyone considering booking the apartment that work has begun on the construction of a number of apartments in a field below and to the west of the apartment.
We visited the apartment in May and again in Nevember 2017 to see for ourselves the extent and impact of the building work. Personally we did not find the activity on the building site a problem however we recognise that construction work nearby can never really compliment a holiday.
A number of guests have stayed in the apartment since work begun but none have reported that the building work was not a problem. This is partly because most people go Sight Seeing or follow some other activity during the day and as work on the site seems to stop at 5pm it is still possible to sit peacefully on the front balcony in the evening to enjoy a drink, in the marvellous views and watch the sun go down over the mountains.
For bookings during the Skiing season the presence of the site should not really be a problem. Most construction sites close down during the winter and hopefully the site gets covered by a liberal covering of snow which suits most guests as they are there to Ski.
We would like to add that a number of guests that stayed at Apartment Hanne during 2017 have written very complimentary reviews and have not even mentioned this construction work. which probably speaks for it self.

We recommend you take with you a print out or a copy of the information PDF's we will have sent earlier. Described and shown in that information pack are instructions of how to retrieve the key and enter the apartment building. From the road level garage a lift is available to take you up to the ground floor of the Apartment house.. Here there are storage rooms for skis, cycles, baby buggies etc and a communal laundry room.
Also on this level is the main pedestrian entrance with a coded lock and an audio/visual entry system connected to the apartment.
From this level there are stairs or a second lift to take you up to the apartment floors.
By making use of the lifts there are no stairs or difficult corners to negotiate and the lights switch on automatically making this building totally wheelchair and senior persons friendly.
Each room has electrically operated blinds and under floor heating. There are full instructions in the Welcome to Apartment Hanne folder.

Apartment Hanne is situated approximately half way between Zell am See and Kaprun. It sits in a sunny position on a wooded mountain side with panoramic south facing views of Kaprun and the surrounding mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The centrepiece of this stunning vista is the 3229 mt Kitzsteinhorn with its glistening glacier that often offers an extended skiing season into May and even June.
Close to the apartment is a bus stop with frequent services to the medieval town of Zell am See, with its beautiful lake, and to the ski resort of Kaprun. From this stop buses also go to Mittersill and Krimml with its magnificent water falls, possibly the highest in Europe. Just 200m away is the Bruckberg-Golfplatz station on the fascinating Pinzgauer Lokalbahn narrow gauge railway that runs between Zell am See and Krimml. (see pinzgauerlokalbahn.at ).
Apartment Hanne looks out over the Zell-am-See Golf Club with its immaculate twin 18 hole championship courses which is surrounded by a backdrop of staggering mountains. In the winter Zell am See/Kaprun is famous for the world class skiing that it offers with many other well known ski areas only minutes away by car or bus. In the summer, with the snow gone, access is available to hundreds of kilometres of trails for hiking and biking and almost every other outside sport and activity such as White Water Rafting and Tandem Sky Diving.
