Now 15% discount for any week or weekend in September/October for our spacious lovely holiday home is situated in a luxury villa park, right in a forest with miles of new walking- or cycling paths, only 7 km. from Zeewolde village with a lovely lake, where you can enjoy a nice beach, ideal for families with children. The villa is located in the geographical heart of our country, so all main tourist cities are within easy distance, including Amsterdam (40 minutes). Within 15-30 minutes you drive to some famous museums, castles, and attraction parks, like the Dolphinarium, Walibi World, and Aquamundo. You will love the location!

Interaction with guest

We welcome our guests always personally with a nice surprise on the table (wine, fruit, and fresh flowers) and a long information chat about the tourist places that are a "must see". I know all these places very well myself and therefore I can tell you a lot more personal details than you find in your travel guidebook. We hand over the keys to you and at the end of your stay, we meet again to check the house, collect the keys, and say personally goodbye.

Hallo Hans, thank you for the friendly words in your review. To be corrct I want to mention that the bedlinen is only 7,50 euro p.p. and not 200 euros for 8 people. I thought that you knew about this extra charge, but obviously you didn't. I have mentioned it now on the TripAdviser website to avoid misunderstandings in the future. About the TV, those things happen without a previous warning, we are not to blaim for that, and I woudl have solved the problem myself if I would have been there at the time. We still are convinced that you had a great time in our nice holiday home, and that you will remember this holiday in a very positive way, OK? Best regards from Wil and Isabel Metselaar

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Wil (the owner) a message.

If Wil (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
