One secure allocated car parking is available with one designated electric car charging point. Besides, the Train Station car parking is just a few paces from the gate (access from Lowther Terrace).

"The Walk" has been designed to meet the needs of those looking for a comfortable living space in a fantastic location.

The flat has one Master bedroom with a king size bed and bathroom en suite with walk in shower; a second double bedroom with a king size bed that can be also used as two twin beds on request. On request is available a double futon bed in the living room.

There is a family bathroom in the aisle with walk in shower.

The living room is spacious and most bright, and boasts landscaping view all over the area. You all can relax on two comfortable sofas while watching the SMART TV or reading a good book! A DVD and CD player and a bluetooth speaker are at your disposal. There's also a selection of books and CD's.

Beside the fully equipped kitchen there is the dining area for up to four people.

Externally "The Walk" incorporates an 'urban orchard' for a taste of calm and tranquility in a gated and lighted environment.

On arrival you will find a thoroughly cleaned and prepared property – a tea/coffee tray with fresh milk and biscuits – all beds made up – 1 large and 1 hand towel per person – Tea towels and oven gloves. Toilet rolls, rubbish bags, liquid soap and adequate cleaning materials e.g. washing up liquid.

For holidays of more than one week, access will be required from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in order to carry out vacuuming and change of bed linen, towels and tea towels, cleaning of kitchen and bathrooms.

Interaction with Guests

You will be provided telephone and mail contacts for information and assistance during office hours and after that time you can call the provided contacts in case of emergency.

The Neighbourhood

Just a few paces from the main gate you'll find (among the others):

- the Odeon Reel Cinema;

- local Sainsbury's Supermarket;

- the farmacy;

- Pubs, shops, restaurants and coffee Tea rooms... A lot of them!

- York Train Station (parking and platforms).

Other Things to Note

Travel cots and high chairs can be provided at no extra charge. Please put your requirements in your email when booking.

No bedding is provided for cots, no restraints for high chairs.

Minimum stay is two nights.

When booking please write name and surname of all the Guests by email. Guests for all or part of the stay must be as listed on the email. Any change in the number or identity of the Guests must be notified before arrival.

The price of the holiday includes heating, lighting, bed linen, towels and tea towels. Cleaning fees are included.

Guests are expected to leave the accommodation as clean and tidy as found on arrival.

The property is NOT suitable for parties of any kind.

We ask Guests not to arrive before 3.00 p.m. and to leave by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

We do not supply non-slip mats for the showers as they are un-hygienic.

For safety reasons, lighted candles must not be used in the property.

The use of the accommodation is entirely at the guests' own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury nor for the loss or damage to the belongings of the Guests.

Make sure to leave TWO SETS OF KEYS in the mail box when leaving..
