Imagine a music-themed luxury apartment fitted out to the highest standards in the Minster Quarter at the very heart of historic York - more like a luxury hotel - but with masses of space, including a living/dining room with 3 large windows overlooking York Minster. A lovely kitchen with everything you need - including coffee for the coffee machine - and a spacious bathroom (bath & shower) with luxury toiletries. Two large bedrooms in the rooftop full of light and overlooking the Minster to the front and church rooftops to the rear.
Downstairs (with a floor in between, so no noise problems) is cafeconcerto so breakfast, lunch, cake or dinner or just a great cappuccino - are all very handy... there are lots of other restaurants & cafes nearby - along with every other facility you could need (museums, shops, pubs, theatre, banks, etc). No smoking or pets (sorry) and not advised for children under 6 yrs or those with walking difficulties due to stairs and high level windows.

The Yorkshire region
Yorkshire is a beautiful place - Historic Cities, Castles, Stately Homes (such as Castle Howard and Newby Hall) and Abbeys to explore. There are three National Parks to visit including the Yorkshire Dales for wonderful walking, cycling or adventure activities. Beautiful seaside villages such as Whitby (home of Captain Cook) and Staithes fishing village on the East coast are all within an hour of York. The climate for the region is mild with relatively low rainfall for the UK - warm in summer and rarely below freezing in winter. You can see why Yorkhire is a nationally renowned film and TV set with films such as Brideshead Revisited and programmes such as Heartbeat, Emmerdale & All creatures Great & Small being filmed here. Visit Haworth - the home of the Bronte family.
Visit web site www.visityorkshire.co.uk for more information on the region and forthcoming events.
York is one of the most beautiful historical cities in the UK with more than 2000 years of history. Truly a walking city - York is surrounded by ancient city walls and offers an outdoor lively cafe-bar culture as well as wonderful art galleries, museums, restaurants and riverside walks. There are city centre parks and 15th century shopping streets and York hosts many international and local markets and festivals. Travel on a steam railway to the seaside at Scarborough, walk the city walls or tour the famous York Minster, built over 500 years ago.

"Returned and not disappointed"
In many reviews you hear a reviewer saying that they will be back well we did and were not disappointed. The apartments appeal is its central location which we took maximum advantage of. The rooms are very comfortable including the beds which if it were not for the minster bells we would probably not have seen York at all. Had a great weekend Christmas shopping and of course socialising and have already booked to come back next August.
