Imagine a music-themed luxury apartment fitted out to the highest standards in the Minster Quarter at the very heart of historic York - more like a luxury hotel - but with masses of space, including a living/dining room with 3 large windows overlooking York Minster. A lovely kitchen with everything you need - including coffee for the coffee machine - and a spacious bathroom (bath & shower) with luxury toiletries. Two large bedrooms in the rooftop full of light and overlooking the Minster to the front and church rooftops to the rear.
Downstairs (with a floor in between, so no noise problems) is cafeconcerto so breakfast, lunch, cake or dinner or just a great cappuccino - are all very handy... there are lots of other restaurants & cafes nearby - along with every other facility you could need (museums, shops, pubs, theatre, banks, etc). No smoking or pets (sorry) and not advised for children under 6 yrs or those with walking difficulties due to stairs and high level windows.
Sorry - no smoking & no pets, children ideally from 6 years (not ideal for younger children due to high opening windows and high stairs but happy to welcome if you are happy to take responsibility for their safety -we do have a travel cot, children's menu etc & are very child friendly). 50% deposit on booking to confirm, remainder 1 month in advance of arrival. Major Credit cards accepted, or cheques (10 days or more before arrival).

Beautifully furnished rooms flooded with light - a massive corner sofa with lots of cushions and oak wood furniture. A welcome pack is included, with a few essentials and a bottle of wine (your choice) The beds are from the Original Iron Bedstead company with Queen mattresses on two of the beds (luxury quality) with plentiful feather and non feather pillows. Enjoy the perfect city centre retreat., with everything on your doorstep.

Beautiful, Grade two-listed townhouse (city centre location, set out over 4 floors next to York Minster). Separate entry to the apartment through Cafe Concerto entrance. Private entrance on first floor. leading to apartment on top 2 floors. Unloading possible outside as pedestrianisation of street is only between 11am and 4pm. Parking Permit can be reserved & collected from Cafe Concerto at any time to suit, on check-in. Car park is approx 4 minutes walk away.

“Wonderful location, supremely comfortable accommodation - 5 star in every way.”
As part of a 'pop-up' cathedral choir singing the services in the Minster that weekend the Music House was the most perfect location. The floodlit view of the west front of the Minster from the spacious sitting room windows was stunning. Our hosts had thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as they could. The kitchen was so well equipped, the bathroom spacious with a large heated towel rail and the bedrooms so attractive with wonderfully comfortable beds and super bed linen. it bettered many a five star hotel with good bedside lights, lovely toiletries, make-up mirrors etc. The harmonium on the first floor landing wasn't couldn't be played but we did sound the trumpet in the sitting room!.
“Returned and not disappointed”
In many reviews you hear a reviewer saying that they will be back well we did and were not disappointed. The apartments appeal is its central location which we took maximum advantage of. The rooms are very comfortable including the beds which if it were not for the minster bells we would probably not have seen York at all. Had a great weekend Christmas shopping and of course socialising and have already booked to come back next August.
