Decorated and furnished to a very high standard providing excellent accommodation in the centre of York, the property is situated in a quiet location on a private development just a few minutes walk from the city centre.

A spacious 3 bedroom city centre riverside house, furnished and equipped to a very good standard. Quiet location on a private development with a secluded riverside garden, just a few minutes walk from all major visitor attractions, shops, restaurants, bars etc.

This contemporary three storey City Centre Townhouse is situated in a quiet location on a private development overlooking the River Foss Lock and the old City Walls of the Castle area. The house is an ideal base for families, being just a few minutes walk away from major visitor attractions such as the Yorvik Viking Centre, York Dungeon, Castle Museum, Clifford's Tower and York Minster as well as the many shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and bars that make York such a vibrant city.

Riverview is just one of a group of our Holiday Homes that are situated next to each other, making them ideal for large parties of up to 35 people visiting the city for weddings, celebrations, York races etc.

“Comfortable property in a good location”

We stayed here at Easter in 2013. The property is quite modern and was clean and tidy when we arrived. The directions were excellent. Even though the weather was cold the property was lovely and warm. The shower was really nice too. It was a very pleasant walk into town and there was loads to do - we could have stayed another week easily! The WIFI was very good.

When we booked this property it was advertised as "decorated and furnished to a very high standard". Unfortunately, on arrival we discovered this was not the case and the property was a little shabby and not cleaned properly. We complained and the agent was responsive and sent in a cleaning crew the next day - I also note that the "very high-standard" comment has now been removed from the listing. Having said all of that, the property is in a good location for a York visit with a pleasant 15-20min riverside walk into the town centre and close to some reasonable pubs and restaurants. We stayed there for 6 nights and hosted a old-friends re-union and the property proved ideal for that. Good value price for the level of accomodation and location

How do damage deposits work?
