“Great Walks”

Reviewed 25 Mar 2016

WE had a great time. Chalet was clean and comfortably. Walking distance to sandown beaches and town.15 min by to car to Ryde.

“Lovely quiet break for the family”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2015

A lovely little chalet on a quiet site. A perfect base for exploring the island. The chalet felt very homely and had lots of little touches added by the owners.

“Great location and close to the beach.”

Lots of parking, close to the beach and shops are close by to. Would rent out again. Service was great and they went the extra mile by sending us leaflets and telling us where dogs were allowed to eat in the pub with us.

“A great place to start and end each day”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2014

This little chalet was a great place to lay our heads at the end of each long day exploring the island. It very quickly became "home". It was much better equipped than I had expected, with lots of little extras tucked away in kitchen drawers. Parking was easy and plentiful. The only downside was beach and shops accessiblity on foot if hills are an issue for you - a car was essential for us. Otherwise it was close to perfect as a base from which to visit all the resorts/attractions that the IofW has to offer. Nowhere is ever more than an hour away (depending on the vagaries of the island's signage!). Most places are within 30 minutes drive, which was a sightseeing opportunity in itself. The proprietor, Liza Walker, was really pleasant to do business with, both via Tripadvisor inbox and on the phone. A bottle of wine and a welcome card was waiting for us on arrival. There's a useful local information folder - no takeaway/delivery leaflets tho? This isn't luxury accommodation but it is very comfortable, noticeably clean and has a decent overbath shower!

“Fantastic!”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2013

This chalet is just perfect. Clean and tidy, with everything that you would need. Our party was Husband and I, with 7 yr old boy, and 6mnth old girl. This chalet is facing a grassy green, with chalets surrounding it. Children on all sides, so after a full day out on the beach or seeing IOW sights, all the children played until bath and bed.. safe and secure environment. The location is perfect to walk to the beach.. both dog beach and non-dog beach. sandy and sunny!! thanks very much, would def. recommend!

“A comfortable chalet in a fantastic location :-)”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2013

Thankyou to Liza and Graham for making us feel so welcome in this very homely, relaxed and comfortable chalet. There's a handy box of books and toys which was helpful. The site is friendly and children happily made new best friends. Award winning beaches a short stroll away away with plenty to occupy all ages. The only downside for certain family members was no WiFi and poor mobile reception, but this could be viewed positively too!

“lovely clean, well presented chalet with lots of helpful bits and pieces !”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2013

The chalet was very clean, comfy and well equipt. The smoke alarm didn't like me cooking with the door closed, but at least we knew for sure that it worked ! Close to the launderette and plenty of outside drying space. Part of the cliff walk was closed due to a land slip, which was nobodys fault but a bit of a dissapointment. Close to bus stops and easy walk into Sandown, or across the beach to Shanklin. The kids loved the local play ground, which was well maintained with lots to do.

“Lovely comfortable chalet”

A lovely well equipped chalet - spacious and clean. Great to even find a toy box for our 3 year old daughter! Would recommend this lovely chalet - close to the beach and central to main attractions on the island

“Excellent PLace to Stay for the family”

Reviewed 8 Jun 2012

We had a wonderful time at IOW. I really appreciate the warm welcome from Graham and Lisa. The chalet is very comfortable, very clean and well equiped. The small touches like keeping the toys for the kids needs to be appreciated. There is an ample parking for cars and the location is just off the beautiful cliff. Me and my family had a wonder time time at Seaspray Chalet. I highly recommed to every family.

“Perfect for our 3 night break - for our daughter and granddaughter”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2012

Have used Owners direct many times and was not disappointed in any way with Seaspray. We were on the 10a.m. ferry and sitting having lunch in Seaspray at noon. Welcoming card and bottle of wine - everything clean and really home from home with everything you could want. Fabulous position with cliff top walk with amazing coastal scenery. Having the car we went to Needles - a wonderful drive. Quiet peaceful site but near to shops etc. Owiers could not have been more helpful and we really hope to return .to see more of this truly beautiful Island Sylvia and David - daughter Sally and Grandaughter Lilly. Go will not regret it.
