Sandown is a traditional British beach resort which is in a delightful bay on the south east coast of the Isle of Wight, the ideal location for your family holiday. With its gently sloping sandy beaches, miles of coastline, blue sea and great choice of attractions and places to eat, Sandown is without doubt one of the best beach resorts on the Isle of Wight. Sandown pier is the only remaining traditional entertainment pier on the Island has all the amusements, fairground rides, cafes and bars you’d expect, with fishing allowed from the end of the pier for keen anglers. There’s an 18-hole course and pitch & putt at Browns Golf Course, the Isle of Wight Zoo and Dinosaur Isle at the northern end of the esplanade towards Yaverland and Culver cliff.
