Balcony

The wide balcony space comes complete with a stylish pergola and quality rattan lounge furniture. Here offers the most incredible sea views, and is a great place for al-fresco dining, or for sundowners and your favourite cocktail.

We provide you with a dishwasher so you don't have to worry about washing up. A large patio door in the kitchen leads out directly to the balcony.
There is also an outdoor BBQ you can use on the balcony or roof terrace.
The dining table seats 4 with additional place settings for up to 6-8 guests. The villa is supplied with premium cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils.

The villa provides not one but two bathrooms, offering privacy for sharing guests. Both bathrooms have been upgraded in 2014, and each one is fully tiled, with a vanity unit and modern fixtures, WC facilities, and a spacious walk in shower. Clean bath towels are provided for your stay.

Infinity Swimming Pool

Less than a minutes walk from the villa, there is an infinity swimming pool, also with an infant paddling pool, and sun loungers free of charge. To cool off in the hot summer months, take a dip and absorb those wonderful views. The advantage of a small complex is that it is rarely busy so very often you have it to yourselves.

Our private roof terrace is the quiet place to get away from everything. We have provided sunbeds for sunbathing throughout the day, and a parasol shaded area for a snooze or a read with your favourite book. Our guests also enjoy evening drinks here, of course it still has that unbeatable sea view.

The Neighbourhood

Yalikavak has a host of beaches amidst restaurants with worldwide cuisine. In the old town, shops and teagardens are huddled in charming historic lanes, right next to a 300-year old windmill. Alongside is the luxurious Palmarina, a jetsetters paradise of superyachts, boutique stores and a nightclub, uncovering Yalikavak as the new face of Bodrum holiday rental.
Turks and international visitors come to Yalikavak to escape the crowds of Bodrum, and savour the relaxed ambiance and friendliness of this traditional Turkish retreat. Yalikavak has supermarkets, fresh fruit and vegetable stores, and pretty cafes lining the seafront for a cold drink or a Turkish tea. You'll find free wifi access in nearly all of the establishments so you can always check email or social media whilst you are away. The beauty of Yalikavak is the ability to retain its charm and unhurried pace of local life, whilst offering a range of world class tourist amenities and activities that provide the complete holiday experience.

Beaches

Yalikavak's bay provides a stretch of beaches, with some walking distance from the villa. You can take a drink and relax on sun loungers for free at many of the beachside cafes and restaurants. Beaches close to the villa, and at Yalikavak's central beach have plenty of jetties to swim from, with protected “Blue Flag” swimming areas and great options for snorkelling. Yalikavak is known as one the last remaining habitats for the endangered “Monachus Monachus” Mediterranean seals. Beaches are never too crowded, and you can always find a quiet spot. Magi Beach Club is a family friendly place by day with cabanas, sun loungers, great food and drinks plus a plethora of watersports including waterskiing, banana boats, kayaking and beach volleyball. Late afternoon the DJs and live music are the hip place to be at sundown, overlooking Tilkicik bay. B-Long Bodrum Beach Club is close to the villa in Yalikavak next to Palmarina. It's a great place to chill with good food and laid back vibes. Check out the photo in the gallery to see how beautiful it is!

Palmarina

Yalikavak's latest addition – Palmarina - oozes style and sophistication with a world class superyacht harbour nestled between famous restaurants, designer stores and the restaurant, pool and ultra chic disco, the Billionare's Club. International sailing events take place year round, and you will find fine dining experiences by Cipriani and Sait Restaurants, or poolside at Nobu. “Fisherman's Village” displays 105 shopping boutiques and stores and a Health and Beauty Spa if you fancy a makeover. An impressive bayside 2,500-seat Amphitheatre hosts musical and artistic events, as well as Moonlight Cinema nights on Wednesdays. Even if you are not the jetsetter type to indulge, it's definitely worth a walk around to see life of the rich and famous. Celebrities such as Bill Gates, George Michael and Naomi Campbell have been known to visit!

Restaurants

You won't go hungry in Yalikavak, with a diverse list of restaurant choices. Sample international menus with anything from Greek, Turkish, French, Italian, Japanese, Belgian, British, Indian and more. A throwback to the historic fishing trade, al fresco seafood restaurants are popular, with the many options strung along the old harbour where you will find the freshest fish straight from the Aegean.
We recommend talking to Alex the cheerful owner at Sofi's Restaurant or give Ali Baba's Restaurant a try!). Le Café Bodrum is our pick for Italian and Indian menu with a serene sunset view and a friendly owner, but you'll also find nearby Mustis Steakhouse and pub/bar type food too! - Palmarina has the exquisite restaurant chains, whilst old town holds plenty of local places for traditional Turkish fare such as Kavakli Kofteci. We adore the Turkish teahouses, with old locals playing chess or mah-jong – you won't find such a wonderful combination anywhere else! For snacks and cheap eats, you'll also find many cafes and 'lokantas', plus check out the local kebab houses such as Cancan Doner.

Shopping

Thursday's Yalikavak market is legendary and one of the biggest in the region. Locals and tourists come from far and wide to discover stalls of Turkish handicrafts, kilim rugs, leather goods, jewellery and artisan products. As well as fresh fruit and veg produce and cheap clothing, there's something for everyone!
Every Saturday there is Turgutreis Market located close to the villa, where you'll find anything and everything from belly dancing costumes to 'genuine fake' Gucci handbags and watches. It is encouraged to use your bargaining skills for a good deal! Here is a great Guide to all the Weekly Bodrum Peninsular markets.
Back in Yalikavak, you can wander through the covered arcade of handicraft and souvenir shops in the heart of town, and summer months bring an open air night market close to the harbour. There's a flea market on the last Sunday of the month, and let's not forget Palmarina's vast collection of designer brand name stores for those shopaholics out there!

Scenic Walks and Touring the Peninsula

Strolling. Yalikavak is great for it. The surrounding green hills provide more great views of the bay and good spots of a picnic. Many walk to the 600 year old abandoned hill top village of Sandima, now population of three, but loaded with breakfast stalls and historical intrigue as the oldest settlement in the area. Trips to the old windmills are the postcard perfect trip on the peninsula.
Our guests rave about driving around the Peninsular and stopping at the quaint, undiscovered villages unspoilt from tourism. Nearby Geris is a small community you can walk or drive to, with a few fresh fish restaurants hugging the harbour. Gümüslük is another quaint fishing village just 7km from the villa, known as the “last refuge for bohemian spirits” with some of the best fish restaurants on the coast, good for eating Turkish Mezze and drinking Raki. Gumbet and Turgutreis are also tourist centres with big shopping markets and fine beaches and a range of watersports. Our host will be on hand when you arrive to point out all the best places to visit (they are local and know the place inside and out!).

Yalikavak for Families and Children

For families, Yalikavak is reputed to be extremely safe, with plenty of options to keep the children entertained. Safe swimming spots at the beach and pools, playgrounds, kid friendly restaurants, plus young ones (and young at heart) will have great fun at the nearby Pirates of the Cactus Waterpark, just 15 minutes away. There's also Kids Paradise in Palmarina and Dedeman Waterpark in Bodrum. For the sporty types, there's tennis and basketball courts right next to Palmarina.

Sunsets and Art

Gather around for the notorious Yalikavak sunset, undoubtedly the best time to wander the harbourfront, or toast a cocktail to another great day. Don't forget your camera. Yalikavak is a mecca for art and local crafts. Inspired by their oil painting surroundings, there are art galleries and plenty of artistic souvenirs, Sanatcilar Sokagi in the centre is a street devoted to local artists. Nurat Sanal Evi is another well known art and sculpture house at Sandima.

Nightlife

Yalikavak prides itself on intimate night venues brimming with friendly locals and visitors alike and there's a few music and sports bars, and discos to dance the night away. Rahat and Sandima Bar are the most popular spots for a evening drink, sometimes there's even karaoke! You can also find dancing in (email hidden). Beach clubs are all the rage in Kudur Bay, and there's bars, restaurants and beach activities (and an entry charge) at the trendy but expensive Xuma or popular Dodo. Our preferred spot for all the family is Magi Beach.
Browse this Bodrum Beach Club Guide for the best hotspots at sundown. For a touch of class, the 'place to be seen' and to people watch is Billionaire's Club at Palmarina. For a wild night out, Bodrum is Yalikavak's neighbour with an upbeat tempo, a short taxi ride away and you'll find fun nights till dawn on board the Bodrum Catamaran ('Europe's biggest floating disco), live music at Marina Yacht Club, and superclub Halikarnas Discotheque.

Sightseeing Excursions

We've teamed up with one of the most reliable and friendly tourist agencies in town, Heaven Tour Yalikavak, whose owner Taylan can offer some great excursion experiences. Stay at Sirinkent Villa and you will have a whopping 15% discount off all car hire, tours and excursions! You can't get that at any other villa!
Boat trips are a great way to lay back and enjoy the scenery. Yalikavak is renowned for it's 'blue voyages' or 'gulet' cruises around the crystal clear turquoise waters, from snorkeling, to island hopping, sunset cruises and party boats – Yalikavak has it covered when it comes to floating on water!
- Turkish Bath or 'Hamman' - sample the revitalising Turkish hot bath experience for a cleansing sauna and scrubbing experience that the Ottomans have sworn by for centuries!
- Fishing trips, catch your dinner with many chartered fishing captains that will be willing to take you out to enjoy the ocean!
- Jeep Safaris and Whitewater Rafting, and Scuba Diving for the more adventurous!
- For the keen golfer, you'll find two challenging courses at Bodrum Golf Club and Vita Park Golf Club.
- Fancy going to another country for the day? You can cruise to Greece and visit the island of Kos, and return, all in a day! It takes just one hour to get there to discover Greek food, Sirtaki and plenty of plate smashing...
- Pammukkale is named as one of the natural wonders of the world – the photogenic 'Cotton Castle' calcium stalactite pools are worth a visit for curative hot springs and the ancient city of Hierapolis.
- Wow if you like history, taking a tour to Ephesus is un-missable. Explore the old ruins of one of the most important Roman-Greco cities of ancient civilization, once home to Alexander the Great. The archaeological ruins are out of this world, and the site is protected by UNESCO World Heritage.
- Nearby Bodrum is a busy commercial tourist port nowadays, but there is still some interesting souvenir shopping to be had, as well as the 15th century Castle of St. Peter and the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, plus a smattering of good restaurants and raving nightlife harbourside.
- Dalyan Mud Baths, royal rock tombs and Turtle Beach tours if you want to see something a little bit different!

Getting around

- The nearest airport is Bodrum International Airport, approx. 50 minutes transfer to the villa.
- Let us know on booking and Taylan at Heaven Tour Yalikavak tour agency can organise airport transfer or car hire for you when you arrive at airport with 15% discount - exclusive to guests staying at Sirinkent Villa.
- Only 25 minutes from Bodrum if you want to visit the major busy town of the peninsula.
- There are regular public bus services ('dolmus') to Yalikavak, Bodrum and most other locations on the Peninsula. The dolmus runs every 15 minutes in peak season and costs just 3 Turkish Lira (approx £0.90/€1.00).
- Whilst a hire car is not entirely essential due to the regular bus services and inexpensive taxis, we highly recommend one to get the most out of your holiday and have the freedom to explore the region. It's very cheap to hire a car here, only 20-30 Euros a day. The owner can introduce you to a car hire agency with Taylan at Heaven Tour Yalikavak with 15% discount. Otherwise our host can help arrange this for you on arrival.
- Car parking space is included at the front of the villa within the complex.
- There are no steps needed to access the Villa, but if you decide not to hire a car, there is a steep hill to reach the villa (to get to the views!), so this is not recommended for elderly guests who have severe difficulty walking. With a hire car this is not an issue as there is parking right outside the villa.

Location of Villa

The location of this villa is it's drawcard, since all amenities are nearby, yet when you want to retreat, you can have your accommodation to yourself and not have to share with other hotel guests that you will find in the busy centre of town. It also means you can have a well deserved lie-in in the morning! Also, the views you have in this villa are not found in the streets of Yalikavak.
Restaurants are aplenty with one walking distance from the villa, and many more along the coast within Yalikavak and upmarket restaurants in Palmarina. There are a number of Migros supermarkets within Yalikavak, you will also find plenty of convenience stores both in Yalikavak and one close by in Geris village. The friendly site attendant, Yuksel, on site 24/7 at the villa complex will happily deliver groceries to you daily if you wish.
