Perfect for couples or individuals looking for quiet self-catering secure accommodation; this modern ground floor village apartment which is situated a couple of miles from the Mediterranean sea is close to good amenities and has private garden with parking space plus use of a free-to-use open air communal swimming pool. There is outdoor furniture that you can borrow and swimming pool inflatables for you to enjoy.
Whether you are visiting Cyprus for the first time or visiting friends and family in the area, you can feel rest assured that this apartment will feel like home from home. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the diner which can allow a third guest to sleep on. You can help yourselves to a DVD to watch or a book to read during your stay. Please note that the television does not receive channels and is used to watch DVDs. You are welcome to bring your own DVDs to watch at the apartment.
Xylophagou is a large residential and quiet village located two minutes off the A3 motorway. This motorway links to other towns and villages between the large town of Larnaca and the holiday resort of Ayia Napa. There is a convenient discount supermarket called Micro situated less than 1 km from the apartment. This supermarket stocks the usual grocery and household items that you would expect in your own local supermarket. There are several kiosks within the village where you can purchase everyday essential items. Xylophagou boasts a 24 hour bakery, cake shops, a post office, petrol stations, pharmacies, churches, independent shops, a bank and an off licence. There is free wi-fi internet available in the bars and restaurants within the village.
You are welcome to borrow a compatible usb dongle for a small refundable fee to enable you to connect to high speed broadband internet using your laptop, netbook or tablet device. The best network to connect to the mobile internet is MTN Cyprus. You can purchase a €10 Mobile Broadband PayAsYouGo SIM card which would provide you with an inclusive data volume of 100MB and is valid for 30 days. There is also a ΜΤΝ Holiday Internet SIM card for €20 which would provide you with an inclusive data volume of 2GB and is valid for 15 days. You are welcome to contact me for further information prior to your arrival to help ensure you have internet access in time for your stay.
If you are looking to stay for longer than four weeks, you would be entitled to a discounted rate for stays from one to three months. The rental per calendar month is £250 for stays between November and April and the rental per calendar month is £400 for stays between May and October. There is a £100 electricity allowance added to the monthly rental to cover the air conditioning costs during the summer months and the heating costs during the winter months. The electricity is charged at 25 per kilowatt-hour and an automatic refund is issued to you for any unused electricity from your allowance.
Feel free to read the excellent reviews guests have posted on TripAdvisor. Guests have expressed their gratitude that the apartment is lovely, quiet and has everything that you need for your stay. They have been impressed with how comfortable and cleanliness. Please can you wash all bed linen and towels and hang these out to dry inside the apartment on the clothes horse before your departure. The apartment is close to Ayia Thekla beach and the popular tourist destination of Ayia Napa. Guests have commented about the good range of amenities on offer in the village including shops, bakeries and restaurants. The apartment has been described as being good value for money.

The apartment does normally get booked fully during the summer months and you are advised to book ahead if you would like to stay during this high season. The minimum stay is seven nights where cleaning is automatically included in the rental. Feel free to email me to request an individualised quote if you need a shorter stay and the €45 cleaning fee for the apartment will be added to the booking.
GETTING TO THE APARTMENT
The apartment is just a 30 minute drive from Larnaca International Airport and a 2 hour journey from Paphos International Airport. Several airlines fly daily to both airports from European countries including the England. The average flight time from London is 4½ hours with major airlines that fly to Cyprus. As the apartment is located in a residential village, car hire is strongly advised and this would enable you to explore the island of Cyprus at your own leisure. The Larnaka District
Larnaca District is located in the Republic of Cyprus. Larnaca District in the south east of Cyprus offers a different pace of life, with the area increasingly popular as a winter resort the area has lots of activities and accommodation on offer to visitors. The seafront of the city is a great place for a stroll, as it is lined with palm trees and cafes. Larnaca offers a wonderful choice of watersports, entertainment and dining.
Xylophagou has banks, pharmacies, village tavernas, churches, cafes, bars, independent shops, post office, supermarkets, newsagents and petrol stations. There is a Lidl supermarket in the nearby village of Ormideia, which is only a 10 to 15 minute drive away westwards from the apartment. The supermarket can be accessed via the A3 motorway.

"Lovely quiet apartment"
This is the second time we have stayed at the really lovely well maintained apartment. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. You are close to all amenities in the village but far enough away for a lovely quiet vacation. The beautiful beach of Agia Thekla is just a couple of miles away and if it's night life you want Agia Napa is approximately 7 miles away.
