“Marvelous”

Reviewed 25 Apr 2016

We had a lovely stay in our beautifull farmhouse in il Xagra. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the in-and outside. The kids also enjoyed the good wifi. We enjoyed everthing around gozo. We loved all the little bays. We changed out plans because of the winddirections. The wind can be huge. We rented bikes through Aaron. They were great and we enjoyed cycling a lot. We saw almost all the little villages and beaches. When we went to Malta one day, we were very pleased to stay on Gozo and not on Malta. All over a great place and even though we saw everything on Gozo, we will return one day!!!

“Traditional Gozitan Farmhouse stay.”

Reviewed 19 Mar 2016

Our host,Aaron was very friendly and informative and communicated with us about any problems we would have. The house itself was very traditional, but with some very modern touches and a joy to stay in. Although we stayed in early March we found the pool and patio area a joy to sit in,although the pool itself understandably being unheated was best used for dangling ones feet only. We would certainly go again, although next time probably when the nights are warmer,as we love Gozo,Xaghra and the surrounding countryside.

“Relaxing stay”

Aaron couldn't have been more helpful from the pre-holiday information to organising the pick up and bikes for the week - everything was arranged hassle free which makes a great start to your holiday. We arrived on a Sunday and the supermarkets were closed, so the welcome pack of essentials Aaron provided were very thoughtful. The week itself was great fun, we hired bikes to get around Gozo and although there's a fair few hills to be negotiated, we loved the freedom that the bikes offered and went home feeling fitter than when we arrived. The house itself was very spacious and comfortable. We used the BBQ every other night and enjoyed our time very much at this property.

“Perfect accommodation & location”

Reviewed 17 May 2015

After staying in Gozo last year in another of Aaron's properties with friends, I couldn't wait to return this year with my partner. The farmhouse boasts a really authentic Gozitan style and offers very Large spacious rooms leaving you with a feeling of 'Times Gone By'. The outside area is spacious and has the benefit of the sun all day. Two smaller balconies upstairs offer far reaching views to the sea and it's well worth setting your alarm to go up and watch the amazing sunrise off the sea. Tal hamrahann is situated a minute walk away from the Bus Stop and well stocked local store with friendly staff. 10/12 minutes walk will find you in the village square with an array of bars and restaurants. An early morning walk here provided you with a Fresh Fish and Butchers and vegetable traders offering locally sourced fresh produce. The local bus takes you a 12 minute ride direct to the beautiful bay of Ramla which is stunning. For any nervous travellers the owner Aaron takes all the pressure from your journey, remaining available throughout by telephone and if required arranging all your transfers from the Airport to the Farmhouse doorstep, along with a nice welcome pack to see you started. Quite simply Perfect! You won't be disappointed

“Beautiful island, beautiful property in a great location”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2014

Just back from an amazing holiday on Gozo staying at this property which really is beautiful. It is really special, well equipped and had everything we needed. The pool and aircon were very useful at this time of the year. The location was perfect for an evening stroll to the restaurants and bars of Xaghra's lovely square. We hired a car and made use of the covered parking space provided, but nothing is far away on Gozo and the bus links from Xaghra are good. Aaron, our host, met us on arrival and showed us around the property and took the time to keep in touch with us during our stay. The extra touches that we also noticed were that a welcome food pack was provided and the linen/towels were changed halfway through our stay, both services we have not been provided with during other holiday rentals. We enjoyed our visit and certainly hope to return. Thank you!

we have just spent a wonderful 3 weeks at Tal Hamramann, one week on our own,one with my daughter and grandchildren aged 3 and 5 and one week with friends from Australia and everyone loved the farmhouse and had a great time.everything was on hand especially the owner Aaron who could not have been more helpful.,Abrahams supermarket is about 200yds,15 minutes walk at old peoples pace and your in the village square with a lovely church and a handfull of good restaurants, and Ramla bay,the best beach is 25 minutes walk downhill, never attempted the return 1.50 euros a day bus fare seemed the better option. So good we have booked for next year. ,

“Truly a paradise”

Reviewed 10 May 2014

I stayed in the Tal-Hamramann farmhouse in May 2014 with 8 friends for one week. All of us absolutely loved the stay in Gozo. The house was lovely and provided absolutely everything we needed including a private pool. I would STRONGLY advice to rent a car / scooter (in our case: two small cars). Aaron, the landlord, offers a very cheap car hiring service. A car / scooter is very practical to get around the island. One important point:check the condition of the tyres before you sign the rental contract because the streets in Malta and Gozo are partially badly-kept. Flat tyres are at the expense of the hirer, so you don't want to rent a car with bad tyres. Apart from the roads, the island of Gozo has no single flaw. You will definitely have a trip of your lifetime! Tal-Hamramann farmhouse: pure excellence. Thank you, Aaron!

“Isbaħ .....wonderful doesn't seem to do it justice ..”

Reviewed 31 Oct 2013

We chose the Tal-Hamramann Farmhouse from one of the holiday rental websites and I have to confess after looking at numerous different properties I became a little overwhelmed but selected Tal-Hamramann because Aaron, the owner was prompt with his responses to several emails asking about the farmhouse and facilities. Aaron could not have been more helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and we were rather demanding primarily because we were staying for a month and getting it wrong and being stuck for a month ...well doesn't bear thinking about. As we can now report the farmhouse was every bit as we hoped with sun on the garden area from dawn until 3.30pm every day, and this is October, in the summer months the garden gets more sun. Aaron told us some of the history of the house and that it dated back to his Grand father with of course many modifications in the years since, full of character and charm. We leave tomorrow after spending the whole of October here and I have to say we are both very sorry to have to leave

“Excellent accommodation”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2013

Tal-Hamramann is an excellent farmhouse. It was just myself and my husband for this visit so we used the master bedroom downstairs which had door out to the pool area. The other bedrooms all looked just as comfy if you were a larger group. All of the rooms have ceiling fans so its easy to keep the house cool, plus their are air conditioning units (pay as you go) for the really hot nights, as its was Sept we didn't need these. The kitchen is fully equipted so easy to eat in or its a 10minute walk to Xaghra's main square where there are a number of restaurants, definitely recommend Oleander Restaurant . Within 2 minutes walk of the house is a shop where you can get everything you need for your stay, plus there was a fruit and veg vendor outside the shop every day whilst we were there. The bus stop is outside the shop so if you don't want to walk to the square you can get a bus. There are also buses to Marsalforn, Ramla and Victoria so if you don't have a car its very easy to get around. A 7 day pass for the bus was 12Euro. Aaron was a great host, with lots of advise on where to go. If you had any questions he's happy to help.
