Right on the banks of the River Wye with amazing views over Tintern Abbey and the Forest of Dean, stands this detached 18th century stone cottage . It has it's own terrace adjacent to the river with railings, and a smaller lawned area with barbecue. The property comprises a spacious L-shaped sitting room with open fire, exposed beams, stone walls and rugs on a tiled floor. Separate dining room. Spacious well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar having views over Tintern Abbey. The first floor has a beamed 'vaulted ceiling' landing, beamed king-sized double bedroom overlooking the river, beamed double bedroom with stone wall, and a bathroom with over-bath electric shower and toilet.Six local pubs and hotels (five in walking distance) offer home-made food. The beautiful surrounding countryside is excellent for walkers and dog owners alike, with Offa's Dyke and the Brecon Beacons also within easy reach. Local fishing is available . “Erholsamer Erkundungsurlaub im Idyllischen Landhaus am Fluss”

Wir haben das erste Mal überhaupt Urlaub in Wales gemacht. Dabei wurden unsere Erwartungen von unserem Ferienhaus und der Umgebung nicht nur erfüllt sondern sogar übertroffen. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt und wir liebten es morgens von der Terasse aus bei einer Tasse Kaffee bzw. Tee den Anblick des River Wye und seiner Ufer zu genießen. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns gleich heimisch und wohl. Die Umgebung bietet eine Vielzahl an kulturellen Sehenswürdigkeiten und landschaftlicher Schönheit.
