'Wherry' is a 2 bedroom (double and twin) cottage ideally located, set right by the waterside of the River Bure, in the heart of Wroxham, Capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park. Ideal for families and fishermen. River Bure and Wroxham Bridge views from 2 aspects of every room. Private mooring. Bring your own boat or hire a day cruiser for your stay and keep it outside the door. Downstairs is open plan with kitchen / dining area with breakfast bar / dining table for 4, and a separate drop-leaf table for up to 6. 3-piece suite comprising sofa-bed (for that extra overnight guest) and 2 leather armchairs. Radiant electric fire ideal for warming up quickly after a winter's day fishing. 32" TV/DVD in living room and French doors to private terrace and shared landscaped gardens with your own private picnic table and bar-b-q. Full size bath and electric shower, pedestal wash basin and toilet. Spacious double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and twin room has two full-size single beds. 19" TV/DVD in each bedroom. All rooms have thermostatically controlled electric heaters, and the cottage is double-glazed throughout. Wherry Cottage has just been completely redecorated for the 2019 season, and has a new stainless steel full size oven and ceramic glass top hob for 2020.

Most of our guests are now returning visitors and the owner enjoys personal contact and feedback to ensure continuous development. We provide all linen. Bath and hand towels for each guest and beds are made up for your arrival. All electricity is included. No hidden extras. Once you book we will make personal contact with you to make sure you are happy with everything. You may arrive at any time after your booking starts and you are in complete control. Entry is by key-safe, and there is a handbook in the cottage with useful cottage and local information. but help is at hand if you need it. Our cottage cleaners have an office nearby and will help with any little problems during your stay. Emergency phone number for them is available.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send David (the owner) a message.

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
