Cotman Cottage is a wonderfully situated riverside holiday cottage, sleeping 4 guests in comfort with stunning views over the River Bure. Set in the popular Peninsula Cottages development, Cotman Cottage offers all the home comforts needed to make for a very enjoyable base for your holiday in this fantastic area. A short walk ( 5 minutes) over Wroxham Bridge brings you into the town of Wroxham/Hoveton with its range of shops, leisure facilities and eateries to cater for all tastes.
Cotman Cottage offers a comfortable south-east facing open plan lounge/dining area with views across a private patio area to the River Bure and includes two comfy sofas plus a dining table and chairs to seat four people, TV/Freeview/DVD and DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity. The fully fitted kitchen includes an oven with separate grill, dishwasher and microwave. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded room and a spacious bathroom with full sized bath and electric shower over the bath.
Fishing is available directly from the patio or lawned area outside the French doors from the lounge.
Small mooring available (only suitable for boats up to 12 feet in length)
Cotman Cottage is fully double glazed and has electric heating throughout.
Off road parking for 1 car provided in secure on-site car park.

“Beautiful cottage / location”
I don't normally write reviews but had to just thank the owners for a wonderful stay. It was a wonderful cottage and location. So clean and beds were very comfortable. I will definitely be going back. A place has to be spotless for me to be happy and this was.

“Beautiful cottage in a perfect location”
Firstly, the cottage was lovely and absolutely spotless. The cleaning company Easy Clean are based on site which is really reassuring for any issues (not that we had any but it was good to know). The location is lovely, so peaceful but so close to the amenities of Wroxham. There is always something to see on the river - swans and herons right outside the cottage. We don’t fish but could see how much the fisherman were enjoying the location. It was a great week and we will definitely be back.

“Fantastic relaxing well equipped Cottage”
This was an absolutely fantastic cottage with everything I could have asked for, wanted and needed if not more. The two bedrooms were ample sized to sleep 4 as was the space downstairs either at the table or seating area. I would definitely book to stay here again as everything was as stated and within easy walking distance of the main part of Wroxham. This is one cottage I will book again without any qualms. Thank you for a fantastic relaxing chilled out holiday in your lovely cottage.

We had a great week at this lovely cottage. Great for fishing being situated very close to the river and boat yard and the welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk was very appreciated upon arrival. We will be going back hopefully later this year.

A lovely cottage located on the river bank. Julie and the owners were excellent at making sure our trip went smoothly. Excellent communication, lovely accommodation with a lovely welcome pack supplied. The beds were comfortable, the accommodation clean with everything needed that we could require. We would certainly recommend the cottage. Thanks again Julie for arranging our trip.

- How do damage deposits work?
In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Katy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
