Description

Set on the River Bure, Wroxham is often referred to as the capital of the Norfolk Broads. The Broads are connected by a network of rivers, cuts and dykes, so you can enjoy waterside village life, or travel mile after mile on slow flowing waters exploring the Broads themselves. Offering high quality self catering holiday accommodation for your stay on the Norfolk Broads, our cottage commands a fantastic sheltered riverside position in a private basin with direct access to the River Bure. Close proximity to the main river and Wroxham Bridge, make it the perfect location for a superb cottage holiday in the picturesque Norfolk Broads.

One of a group of cottages set in the Peninsula Cottage Marina, it is only a short walk to the centre of this bustling village, with shops, cafes, restaurants, take aways, hotels and riverside pubs.Boat, Canoe and Bicycle Hire available locally. Golf Course just a short drive away.Including a private mooring, and fishing (in season) direct from the cottage.

Suitable for families or small groups, Waveney is a three bedroom waterside cottage. It is situated within a private marina leading directly onto the River Bure.

Waveney cottage offers accommodation for up to 8 persons. The cottage is arranged over two floors, with one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, family bathroom, ground floor shower room and open plan kitchen, dining room and living room. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge for 2 additional guests (extra charges apply). There is room for a travel cot in the bedrooms. Linen and duvets for all beds are included and beds made up for your arrival.

Outside is a gated south facing decked area, overlooking the water. The cottage is designed, furnished to a high standard and has delightful views over marina and to the River Bure beyond. Garden furniture is provided for use on the decked area. On the ground floor the cottage has an entrance hall with storage and shower room, including toilet and wash basin. A large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area makes up the rest of the ground floor. Both kitchen and shower room benefit from underfloor heating. French doors lead onto the decked terrace. On the first floor leading from the landing area is a family bathroom including toilet, wash basin and full size bath with shower. There is an electric shaver point in the family bathroom. Towels are provided. A double bedroom and two twin rooms provide sleeping for six on the first floor.

All beds have memory foam mattresses for the comfort of our guests. Parking is directly in front of the cottage.For the convenience and comfort of all of our guests pets are not permitted in Waveney Cottage.The cottage is available from 4pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure.

If you do arrive early, there is plenty to do in Wroxham and if preparation of the cottage is complete before 4pm, you are welcome to start your stay early.

Our cottage is offered for full weeks and short breaks. The Standard full weeks are Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks normally commence Monday (4 nights) or Friday (3 nights). These are only our standard holiday packages and specials may also be possible but arrival and departure dates will be dependent on bookings already taken. Prices are based on 6 persons. Two additional persons can be accommodated on a sofa bed in the lounge for an additional £5 per person per night. The price of your stay does not include travel/cancellation insurance. What a fantastic holiday, excellent location, Excellent, well equipped property with a really nice welcome package. It's the little things sometimes that go a long way. The property was clean and presented well, my husband sat out fishing and caught plenty. My only gripe is wifi / internet very poor connection it would be so worth while having it at the property for our family, but I'm being picky, and I was fully aware before my visit there was non. Would I return ? Yes. would I recommend ? Absolutely Iv already passed the details on. There's no reason you won't love the house or the area.

How do damage deposits work?
