Kipper Cottage is highly rated . The cottage is comfortable and on one level accommodation for four people. There is an open-plan living room and kitchen, which are bright and spacious, tastefully furnished and have lovely views of the creek. The Cottage benefits from en-suites to both bedrooms and French doors leading from all principal rooms to the charming rear garden with decked area. There is a pretty garden path leading down to an attractive chalet on the waters edge which has electricity, water and a gas BBQ. Kipper Cottage also has a private pontoon and slipway on to the creek. Both house and chalet have sunny decks with seating and tables with great views perfect for reading and relaxing with a glass of wine. Children can enjoy crabbing and fishing from the pontoon under adult supervision at your own risk

“Perfect place to relax.”
Well set out on one floor, with plenty of room to chill out. We had two small dogs with us that were able to explore the garden without any worry. Although the weather wasn't very kind to us our weeks stay was most enjoyable.

Had a great week at kipper cottage, cant wait to get back next year. Boat house was a real treat. House was clean and tidy. Lovely quite spot
“Comfortable,stylish and contemporary”
This converted cottage is situated in a lovely part of the island and makes an ideal base for exploring. The cottage has a modern light ,spacious and airy feel. It is well equipped, and has good quality furnishings and fittings making it feel like a home from home. The only negative comment (or suggestion ) is that it needs a dishwasher and from a personal point of view I would put in central heating rather than storage heaters as much more controllable for visitors coming in the chillier months,although it was a warm cottage. The gardens are lovely and private and drop down to the pretty tidal creek.The furnished summerhouse is a real bonus. I took my elderly mother who enjoyed many an hour reading or watching the boats from it while I went off exploring with the dog. Although pricey (you have to pay for views and quality!!) I would recommend this cottage as an ideal place to stay and enjoy the island.
“Well presented holiday cottage which lived up to expectations”
Rented kipper cottage to take my very elderley disabled parents on holiday. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and to quote my parents if needs be we don't have to go out as there is plenty to see just sitting in the sitting room looking out at the creek. Local amenities were good to keep us supplied with life's neccessities such as food and wine. Local doctor on hand which was great as my dad was ill during the last couple of days and although i didn't contact the doctor it was good to know one was available. The only downside was i was unable to take dad down to the summer house as it is too steep to get him back, but i loved it down there. All being well we hope to make a return visit in 2013.
