Now with free broadband Wifi, The Grange is a purpose-built, ground floor three-bedroomed modern holiday apartment in Creek Gardens, at Wootton Bridge on the Isle of Wight. It is located on the west bank of picturesque Wootton Creek. Well equipped, with the main bedroom having a fantastic superking-size ( 6' wide) four-poster bed and en-suite shower room. The other two bedrooms ( one with twin beds, one with bunkbed and all 3' wide) share a second shower room. The open-plan living area has comfortable chairs and settee, with TV/DVD, free broadband WiFi, and the breakfast bar seats six. The kitchen area has oven, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Two brand-new patio decking areas facing south-west, equipped with tables and chairs, lead via French windows from the living room and main bedroom. There are glimpses of Wootton Creek.

Ryde's golden sands are three miles away, with the Island's other beaches also easy to reach. Wildlife lovers will especially appreciate the Island's red squirrels, whilst Wootton Creek is also home to herons, egrets and other water birds.
Creek Gardens has a lawned area leading to the fenced creek.

The England region

The Isle of Wight is a beautiful and popular destination with a mild and sunny climate as a result of its southerly location. Lovely beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty make the Island - as it is known locally - particularly attractive. Visitors can choose whether to try a traditional seaside holiday, tour the attractions or take part in activities and sports such as cycling, sailing, fishing, walking or wandering the extensive system of footpaths and bridleways. There is a comprehensive bus network, and visitors can use rover tickets to make full use of it. There are a number of "breezer" bus routes with open-top double-deckers; the Downs Breezer passes through Wootton Bridge and is a great way to see the countryside.

Wootton Bridge

The Grange is easily reached from the Wightlink ferry car ferry terminal terminal at Fishbourne and the Red Funnel car ferry terminal at East Cowes. Wootton Bridge has a useful selection of shops, including Tesco Express and Spar, and has several pubs, takeaways (fish and chips, Indian, Chinese) and a garage/petrol station. The nearest pub to the The Grange is The Sloop by the actual bridge over the creek, whilst alongside the mill pond is the Lakeside Park Hotel with bar, brasserie and fine dining restaurant. The hotel also has a spa, with swimming pool, hot tub etc, and offers pampering with a choice of treatments including facials, manicures and pedicures.
Within easy reach are a number of tourist attractions such as Queen Victoria's Osborne House, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Butterfly World and the Robin Hill country park. The Grange is ideal as a base to attend or watch the numerous events held on the Island; these include the Isle of Wight Walking Festival, the world-renowned sailing event of Cowes Week in August, and of course musical events such as the IOW Festival in June and the Bestival in September.
