A contemporary kitchen, convivial dining room, sitting room with open fire and additional ‘snug’ make it ideal for special occasions and celebration weekends. The interior is complemented by the large and private garden at the back of the house, with its gravelled patio and lawned areas beyond.

Accommodation:

Entrance from parking area via a small porch into the dining room with table for 10. ‘Snug’ with sofas, TV and lots of books. Spacious sitting room with open fire, ample sofas and French windows leading out to the rear garden. A small passage from the dining room leads to a practical, fitted kitchen with integral appliances, breakfast bar and large larder. Large utility room with alternative entrance into the house. Separate cloakroom/wc. A double bedroom with French windows to the garden and an en suite wet room/wc make up the accommodation downstairs.

Carpeted stairs from dining room to 1st floor landing. Bedroom/dressing room/study with drawer bed and doors to both a large master bedroom with zip & link beds, offering a choice of super kingsize double or twin beds, and to a bathroom/wc with shower over the bath. Twin bedroom. Further double bedroom with memory foam mattress at the end of the corridor; fine views from the dual-aspect windows over the garden. Shower room/wc and further separate wc.

Outside, the large, private garden is mainly at the back of the house. Trees, shrubs and attractive flower borders make this a very relaxing space. There’s a productive vegetable patch as well. Ample garden furniture and barbecue are provided.

Within the boundary of the New Forest National Park Byways provides easy access to the enormous variety of walks and rides, beautiful ancient woodland and pretty coastal stretches, all to be found in this unique and deservedly popular corner of southern England. There are many visitor attractions in the wider area - the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester are both within half an hour’s drive and the historic ports of Southampton and Portsmouth are a little further. For local shopping the market town of Fordingbridge is 4 miles away.
