A gorgeous Alpine Log Home nestled on 10,000 acres in Horse Mountain Ranch, less than 8 miles from I-70. This luxury home is spectacular, its construction is characterised by huge logs, fine finishes and spectacular views from every room in the house. The house is warm and inviting, but breathtaking at the same time. There is a beautiful waterfall in front of and below the southern deck. Guests have included several NFL players and their families, Japanese royalty, and professionals from Denver, Texas, and the coasts. All have raved.

Upon entering you will experience the openness of the great room with its huge natural wood burning fireplace, decor reminiscent of Ralph Lauren, and panoramic views of the area. There are decks surrounding the main level, from which one may view wild life running about the property. A gourmet kitchen with it's amazing views and high-end appliances opens to a gorgeous dining room, with a huge walnut trestle table that seats 10 & a beautiful stone bar that seats 4 more.

Bedroom # 1 located on the main floor & has a gas kiva fireplace, private deck, slate bathroom with a wonderful Jacuzzi tub. On the upper level, the loft is warm with furnishings that provides additional sleeping for two, if needed, as well as bedrooms #2 and #3, each with their own full bathrooms.

Bedroom # 2 has a unique loft for kids to climb up a ladder to snuggle into their own little hideaway but still close enough to mom & dad for security. Bedroom #3 has queen size bed and a private deck facing the mountains to the east that you may enjoy that morning cup of coffee alone. This bedroom is also in earshot of the waterfall at the bottom of the hill.

The lower level has an abundance of entertainment features for the whole family to enjoy such as – pool table, satellite television, stereo system, sauna & just out the door, sunken into a stone patio, is the hot tub. Bedroom #4 is located on this level, it has a queen bed. Bedroom #5 (the bunk room)is also on this level with 4 twin beds and plenty of floor space for young & young at heart to play.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tanya (the owner) a message.

If Tanya (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
