Washbattle Mill Barns provide an opportunity for two family groups to be together but in separate very well appointed and character properties.

The Barns have been imaginatively converted to the highest standard and both feature large stone built conservatories which overlook the site. Log Burners, nice relaxing place for you to unwind.

The land around the barns is a designated nature conservation site, and we have developed a large pond fed from local springs to attract birds and wildlife. Children will be amazed at the multitude of frog spawn in early Summer, the numerous dragonflies and varied birdlife, from robins to kingfishers, ducks, herons, owls and high above the valley circling birds of prey. Occasionally deer can be glimpsed through the forests that surround the valley and in early Autumn abundant pheasants occupy the land and sit tantalising on the fence posts.

Outside, the immediate area is parking and lawn with a track leading up to additional private parking area from which you can look down onto the large pond and island. Beyond the pond the River Tone bounds the site bringing with it the sound of running water. Hiding beneath the trees and bridge, numerous trout can be seen darting through the shadows.

Prices include bed linen, towels, electricity, hot water and oil central heating.

Each barn has TV, FreeSAT, DVD player, DVD's Books and Games also a pay phone.

Prices quoted are for the 2 bedroomed Mill Barn, please send me a message if you are interested in renting The Old Dairy or both barns.

Discount available for holidays more or less than 7 nights.

Changeover day is normally Saturday peak time but please contact me if you would prefer to arrive on a different day.
