Ideally situated for exploring the beautiful heartland of Exmoor. This romantic cosy cottage boasts rare and extensive river frontage in delightful gardens.

The cottage offers both space and character with exposed beams throughout. Living room with huge inglenook fireplace, an extremely well appointed large farmhouse kitchen, utility room and downstairs W.C. An exquisite sunroom (third bedroom if required) with double patio doors leading directly onto the riverside gardens. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, one double with antique brass bed and a further well furnished twin, with one double and one single bed. A pretty central bath/shower room with W.C. All rooms enjoying views of the river and gardens.

Bridge Cottage COVID19 protocol For the safety of our guests and housekeeper, we have devised a new set of guidelines set by PASC to help stop the spread of coronavirus. We politely request you to read and agree with these arrangements. Check-in The cottage will have a thorough clean before your arrival (a copy of the cleaning schedule is available if requested). Our new check-in time is 5 pm. The cottage will be left unlocked for your arrival and the sterilised keys will be left on the kitchen table. You will find the cottage windows open to ventilate after our clean. For your convenience, you may order your shopping before your arrival via email, phone, or post. Please see our attached form for ideas and information.

We do not usually allow bookings under the age of 21. Please contact us if this is the case when making your booking. Children may not be left unsupervised either in the cottage or in the garden. You are welcome to have guests visit you but they may only stay overnight if the bed spaces are not exceeded. We may ask you to leave if any of your group is causing a disturbance and in these circumstances there will be no refund for holiday days lost.

Why can't I call Antony (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Antony (the owner) a message.

If Antony (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
