Description from owner

Marram House is a stunning barn conversion in Winterton-on-Sea.

The two double bedrooms have 5' double beds and ensuites (one with a bath, one with a shower) whilst the third bedroom has a bunk bed (big enough for adults), two twin beds and it's own wetroom. There is a large kitchen/dining room with modern appliances and plenty of fridge and freezer space. The highlight is a very large upstairs living room with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Outside is a private garden with large table and sunshade and a larger garden shared with the other cottages.

Marram House is part of beautiful Church Farm Cottages, converted from traditional Norfolk brick & flint farm buildings, tucked away in the seaside village of Winterton-on-Sea and only a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Tucked away in one of Norfolk's prettiest coastal villages, and within 600 yards of a glorious sandy beach, this Barn Conversion has been recently renovated to offer a welcoming holiday break, whatever the season. The perfect spot in which to relax and unwind with the dunes' Nature Reserve 6 mile circular walk almost on the doorstep, it sits just 350 yards from the local pub renowned for its good food.

The General stores, Post Office, fish and chip shop are all under 200 yards away. Fishing, day boat hire and sailing on the beautiful Broads (6miles), quaint market towns, craft centres and medieval Norwich (21 miles), with its cathedral, castle, museums, fine shopping.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our Holiday Cottages and how we look after our guests (please read our reviews). The price you pay for your holiday is always the total amount – we never charge extra for pets, fuel or firewood.
We have also managed to negotiate a number of exclusive discounts for our guests with local businesses , including the Fishermans Return pub in Winterton-on-Sea.

We’ve just had a amazing couple of days at Marram House, spotlessly clean, beautiful huge barn conversion, very dog friendly, secure outside, which is a big bonus with a dog. Fantastic pub within walking distance, great food & also very dog friendly. Definitely be back again. Thank you

Hi Great place.beautiful cottage with great facilities. Perfect mixture of old and new and in great condition. We visited for my friends Weekend hen do and as organiser found Richard to be very straightforward and helpful with booking. I understand Jan the housekeeper (who meets you) was very kind (my other friend was first to arrive) Village pub was within walking distance, food lovely but service a bit mixed Lovely stay and brilliant price for quality accomodation. It made the weekend ever so special Would definately consider coming back Thanks

“Lucy & Ross wedding day at The Boat House 30SEP16”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2016

We planned our visit to Winterton for over twelve months and our stay a Marram House was to the standard of that befitting the great wedding to which we experienced at The Boat House. Despite our friends accommodation in an adjacent property our housekeeper Jan still visited to ensure we had arrived and settled in. A great three night stay was experienced and utilisation of the discount card for the local pub was a more than pleasant surprise addition. Highly recommend this venue and in fact any of the adjacent lets under the same owner.

“Well presented dog friendly”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2016

Lovely well presented barn with enclosed patio great for the dog. Everything you need for a self catering stay with good pub and fish and chip shop in village. Visited nearby cafe's at Poppylands, Waxham barns and horsey wind pump national trust site. Beach is great for dog walking - only one issue is that car park didn't open till 8.30. Will definitely consider returning.

“Best coastal stay in the UK”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2014

Absolutely perfect from every aspect, Marram House fulfilled and exceeded our expectations. Well appointed, spotless and cosy with high quality, solid furniture throughout. Kitchen was excellent and plenty of space in the living areas for us and the dogs (who settled in immediately- dog bowl under the sink is a lovely touch!). Highly recommended and hope to return in the future.
