Renovated to a very exacting standard by its owners, this holiday cottage is an absolute gem with every care taken to ensure that the accommodation is of the highest standard. Internally the property retains many classic features including an Aga and open fire and is presented in a wonderfully cosy yet modern style that absolutely fits 'the feel' of the cottage.
Externally the cottage is set within the grounds of the owner's home overlooking private gardens with river frontage and rolling Cotswolds Hills beyond. In every resepct this we recommend this self catering cottage. We fell in love with the location the moment we drove through the private gates - it really is the ideal spot for friends or family to relax and unwind and to enjoy the open space that this location affords. In our opinion an absolute gem.

The Cotswolds region
The Cotswolds are one of the most ‘quintessential English’ regions in the UK.
It is officially designated as the country’s largest ‘areas of outstanding natural beauty’. Famous for its hillsides, river valley’s and Cotswold Stone Villages, the Cotswolds hold a wealth of history, stunning scenery, fine dining and many varieties of activities for all age levels.
Winson is located in the heart of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding National Beauty, convenient for a host of classic Cotswolds' locations including Bibury, Burford, Stow-in-the-Wold and Cirencester. The market town of Cirencester (15 mins) has many places to eat and shop plus a regular Farmers' Market, antique shops as well as the renowned Corinium Museum. Bibury, 2 miles away, is a stunning village (once described by William Morris as 'the most beautiful village in England') also has some good pubs to choose from.

"A beautiful little cottage with stunning surroundings"
I booked Lower Barn Cottage for family to stay as I was getting married at nearby Cripps Barn. My family absolutely loved the cottage! It is beatiful, well equipped and the views are simply stunning with a gorgeous lake situated at the bottom of the garden, it made for some lovely photos of my husband and his groomsmen getting ready to leave. Winson is a very pretty little villiage and nearby villiages such as Bibury offer great places to eat and drink which are even in walking distance. I would highly recommend a stay at this cottage if you are looking for a cos getaway in the heart of the cotswolds, you won't be disappointed!
