Description

This traditional pine log cabin is situated in a prime riverside location on the beckside area of Limefitt Park. The spacious two bedroom lodge has an outside Hot Tub and is pet friendly. Tarn Hows Lodge is ideal for both couples and families alike.

The lodge benefits from being larger than your typical two bedroom lodge with a king size bedroom and a twin - sleeping 4.

The open plan living area boasts a cast iron gas log effect fire ensuring a cosy stay all year round. Outside there is a large fully enclosed decking area with a private sunken Jacuzzi Hot Tub.

Full length patio doors open out onto the decking area and the stunning views of the river/beck and Wansfell beyond.

Pet friendly - up to 2 small/medium sized dogs accepted. Parking for two cars.

WiFi is via Limefitt's free wifi and speeds may vary.

Our change over days are Fri or Mon. ** Our Short breaks are Fri-Mon or Mon-Fri Any other stays will be rejected**

The lodge comprises of:

'L' Shaped Hallway:-

full length wall mounted mirror, shoe rack

Kitchen:- *New 2018 *

Well equipped kitchen with a Gas oven & Hob, fridge-with ice compartment freezer, Toaster, Microwave and plenty of utensils, pots pans and casserole dishes.

Lounge/Dining area:

three seater leather settee and one armchair (these are non reclining), coffee table, Flat screen LCD TV, DVD with good selection of DVD's for all the family. Log Effect Cast Iron Gas Stove. Oak dining table with four dining chairs.

King Size Bedroom:

King Size Bed with overhead storage space, bedsite cabinets, dressing table and mirror with overhead light. Double Wardrobe space.

Twin:

Twin bedroom with overhead storage space, bedside cabinet with lamp, Wardrobe and dressing table with mirror.

Bathroom:

Fitted bathroom including: bath with overhead electric shower, shower screen. Toilet and basin with bathroom cabinet overhead. Heated Towel Rail.

Outside:

parking for two cars in spacious garden area with a steep slope down to the beck. Large gated decking with your own private outside Hot Tub, undercover 'all weather area' and undercover storage area. Patio Furniture with chairs.

Sorry Smoking is not permitted inside the lodge.

Well behaved pets are welcome - up to 2 pets.

“Peaceful and tranquil”

Lovely few days in an amazing setting. The lodge had everything you could possibly need. All mod cons. Cozy with wonderful views. Plenty of space and a beck running immediately in front of the balcony. Hot tub added to our experience Easy booking and contact with owner. Site reception team also friendly. The park itself immaculate. Ideal location from which to explore the Lake District. Hope to return in the near future

“Amazing relaxing stay”

We arrived on a Monday with our bulldog Loki I was so pleased that the outside space was secure and safe for our dog to move around. You have a amazing view of the river beneath you and it was very quiet. The site has a dog field so you can feel safe to let your furry friends run around. There is also a onsite bar which allows dogs inside and it serves food from 3pm. There is also a huge playing field for kids to play football and run around. The lodge is very clean it has a small tv and dvds a gas fire. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom also has a bath and is spacious. As the lodge is all pine it’s slightly dark inside. It isn’t a problem it gives a true authentic lodge feel. It has all amenities you would need. Hoover, iron cooking facilities and mop and bucket. There’s a outside hose Incase your dog makes a mess and a round hot tub. I would advise on arrival to have the temperature around 37 degrees. It takes around 4 hours to hit desired heat. It was rubbish weather our time away we spent time exploring Windermere, Keswick and Ambleside. If you fancy a drive sticklebarn inn is a great drive with wonderful views and great for dogs. We would definitely come back we’ve had a amazing time very relaxing definitely what we needed

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elizabeth (the owner) a message.

If Elizabeth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
