From the owner

Beck Cottage is located just two minutes walk from the centre of Windermere village where you will find plenty of traditional shops, cafe's and restaurants.

The welcoming hallway with victorian tiled floor leads into the cosy and relaxing lounge with sumptuous furnishings with traditional wood burning stove. The open fire in the large dining room makes this a perfect setting for a relaxing meal after a busy day in the Lake District. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances and has a door to the enclosed rear patio and small traditional outhouses which is an ideal setting for tranquil al fresco dining.

Upstairs, are three stylish bedrooms.Two of which have Super King size beds and there is a third bedroom for occasional use.The luxurious bathroom is complete with heated floor, designer double ended bath and shower attachment that ensures total relaxation after a day on the fells.

There is an enclosed garden at the front of the property with seating on a small patio area ideal for BBQ's, there is also parking for one vehicle on the private driveway.

Beck Cottage is an ideal bolt hole for those wanting to relax and enjoy the slower pace in life.

Why can't I call Debra / Russell (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Debra / Russell (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
