Windermere

There are too many attractions nearby to be listed here. Windermere, England's largest lake, is just 10 minutes' walk away. Ullswater, Brotherswater, Rydal Water, Grasmere and Thirlmere are within half an hour's drive.

There is also sailing, fishing and horse riding available close to the apartment.

There is an excellent local supermarket, Booths plus Co-op and a Tesco Metro. A short drive away is Grizedale forrest (Go Ape)

The well known Lake District visitor centre at Brockhole is just a 5 minute car drive away, as is Fell Foot park with lake cruises across to Lakeside available. At Lakeside you can visit the Aquarium and steam Railway.
The location of this immaculate house is most suitable for people wanting to enjoy the Lake District and all it has to offer, from walking and exploring to relaxing.

“A most exceptional holiday let”

I spent the Easter weekend with two friends in No.3 and we all agreed that the apartment was finished to a very high standard. We were provided with all the facilities that we needed for a comfortable stay.

Immaculate apartment in Windermere town. Beautifully furnished and decorated.with all the home comforts you will need for a holiday in the Lake District - whatever the weather, Had a fantastic holiday here despite awful weather because the apartment was somewhere lovely, warm and comfortable to return to. Jane and Darren looked after us brilliantly. Thank you very very much

Great apartment in a great location. The apartment was exactly like the photos online, really close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Difficult to think of any negatives, especially for my son, who loved having the Xbox in the lounge.

Apartment is a couple of minutes walk away from train/bus station, supermarket and other shops/boutiques. Although you wouldn't have thought this when in the apartment, which was quiet and peaceful. So easy and lovely to relax in, with everything we needed. Have already recommended to friends and family! And hope to visit ourselves again.

great place to stay, central, well catered for, near train station and bus stop. must trys are open top bus, walk down to Windermere lake. accomodation superb, home from home without the kids. lovely to saty in can't wait to return. more than willing to recommend and have passed on details to friends and family.
