There is a small dining table which will accommodate 4 people.

“Our annual pre Christmas weekend away.”

Second time we’ve stayed. Compact but very well appointed and cosy. Wine, cake and milk a nice touch. Winchcombe is a lovely village and it all felt very Christmassy. Spectacle of Light at Sudeley an added bonus, beyond expectations. We’ll be back!

Owner's reply: We are delighted you enjoyed your second visit. We look forward to welcoming you back.

“Great Location”

Lovely cottage in great location in the middle of Winchcombe. Easy access to many places in the Cotswolds. Clean and well equipped - plenty of hot water for shower etc.

“A home from home in an excellent location”

Reviewed 23 Apr 2018

This is a lovely cottage with everything we could need. The flowers, wine and cake (and pint of milk) were a lovely treat which we really appreciated. The cottage is very comfortable and very clean and we felt very at home there. Winchcombe proved to be an excellent location for walks - both long and short and the house had helpfully provided a folder with walks and other information which we found very useful. Sudeley Castle is definitely worth a visit. We hope to come again!

“Little cottage in great location”

Well stocked, clean and tidy cottage with a lovely welcome pack. Good location & parking. It's an excellent center for visiting north Cotswolds and the town has a lot to offer too.

“Beautiful!”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2017

The cottage is lovely! Some original features but with the luxury of central heating! We thought it was a fab touch to have wine and milk in the fridge, although we left it for the next guest as we'd already bought some with us. We then found the chocolate cake much to the kids delight. The cottage is very well equipped and felt like we were in someone's well loved home and not a rental property. I'd prefer to use the word cosy as opposed to small...... you need to appreciate how old the building is and understand that of course there'll not be big modern fitted wardrobes etc, however it was plenty big enough for us 4. Full marks to whoever does the cleaning as it was spotless. The surrounding area is beautiful. It's a tiny town but still manages to cram in 4 pubs in walking distance along with a couple of higher end restaurants and deli/cafes. A small word to anyone with small children...... only 2 of the 4 pubs offer a dedicated children's menu so just bear that in mind. Would love to come back another time when the castle is open. Great stay altogether!

The cottage is in an ideal location, within walking distance to all local amenities , we had some lovely meals out at the local pubs We would highly recommend "The Cottage" & hope to return one day
