Totally secluded this 17th century former rectory built of mellow Somerset stone is surrounded by four acres of mature, formal garden. A delight at any time of the year the garden contains a range of species trees, a glorious herbaceous border, mature shrubs and bulbs galore. The house has a large family kitchen with four oven Aga, a spacious dining room and three reception rooms, two of which lead on to the south facing terrace equipped with tables, sun umbrellas and a large gas barbeque. There are eight large, light and airy bedrooms spread over two floors of which four are ensuite and the others share two bathrooms. Close by the main house is the Dovecote Cottage, fully self contained and sleeping another four people in two bedrooms.In additon to the heated pool (May to September inclusive), we offer the opportunity to steam in our sauna and luxuriate in the hot tub under the stars.
