This semi-detached cottage near the village of Bolton Low Houses sleeps six people in three bedrooms.The Old Grainstore is a semi-detached cottage, on a working diary farm, near the village of Bolton Low Houses and Wigton. This cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double with en-suite shower room, one double and one zip/link twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and sitting room with woodburning stove. The Old Grainstore is an ideal holiday home for exploring the area, with something for everyone to enjoy from the Lake District National Park to market towns and wonderful natural attractions.

Amenities: Eco-friendly electric central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 4 x TVs with FreeSat, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, two highchairs and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Patio with furniture plus shared, grassed picnic/play area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 1.5 miles. Note: As property is on a working farm, children should be supervised at all times. Note: The owner has dogs. Note: There are 3 steps leading up from the patio/parking area to the property.

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: The village of Bolton Low Houses offers a good pub serving food. The market town of Wigton and the village of Caldbeck are nearby. The area offers much to see and do and includes the towns of Penrith and Keswick, the cathedral city of Carlisle, Derwentwater and Lake Bassenthwaite.

Great location if you want to explore the North Lakes or Scotland. Wonderful for our family of all ages to get together. Fabulous accommodation and hosts. We have booked our third visit.
