The immediate area has much to offer and you can stroll directly out onto rustic Dartmoor, which is a must for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. The nearby village of Widecombe-In-The-Moor is famous for its traditional fair held annually and celebrated by a well-known folk song of the same name, featuring 'Old Uncle Tom Cobley and All'. This is also an ideal base from which to explore the whole of Devon, including The English Riviera delightful South Hams, the impressive cathedral city of Exeter, bustling Plymouth, Dartmeet, Ashburton and Bovey Tracey. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: approached by stone stairs from the ground floor, 1 double and 2 twins. Bathroom: with hand-held shower over bath (please note this is a small 3/4 length bath) and WC. Lounge: with woodburner (first basket of logs included and further can be purchased on site), original inglenook fireplace, feature flagstone floor and TV/DVD. Dining room. Kitchen: with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: private enclosed lawn garden with garden furniture, to the rear of the property. Amenities: electric heating included. 3 dogs welcome.
