Built originally in the 1920’s our beach house at Seasalter has been in our family for over 40 years. One of just a handful of beach front properties in Whitstable bay, its captivating sea view encompasses the Swale estuary and the Isle of Sheppy in the West, right across to Whitstable itself in the East.

Living literally right on the beach is something quite special, so whether your passion is fishing, bird watching or sailing, or if you need a base to explore Whitstable, Faversham and Canterbury from, or are just looking for a traditional Kent seaside break or family holiday, our fully equipped Seasalter beach house is the perfect location to enjoy a relaxing and entertaining stay.

“Sunsets to die for!”

Wonderful stay. The Beach House was tasteful and comfortable but it was hard to take our eyes off the view. It was an inspiring way to end dismal lockdown months.

I booked a two night stay for a surprise birthday. We arrived at the house and were so pleased with it. Very spacious inside and the decoration and attention to detail was beyond our expectation. The house was immaculately clean and they have supplied everything you could possibly need. Even in these difficult covid 19 times they had supplied hand sanitizers. The location is brilliant and we were very excited to see a Heron just on the beach , lovely for walks into Whitstable. Will definitely be booking again and I highly recommend this house to everyone, don’t miss this little gem

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send James (the owner) a message.

If James (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
