This self catering, spacious 4 bedroom whitewashed modern townhouse, is located in the heart of Whitstable town, just 1 minutes walk from the beach, shops, restaurants and just along from the famous fishing harbour. The 3 floor cottage is tastefully decorated throughout with solid oak flooring, wooden shutters on the windows, and is perfect for friends, or families alike, wishing to escape the humdrum of everyday life, and is perfect for entertaining.On the first floor there is a beautiful white bedroom furnished with a rococo inspired king size bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, chest of drawers, large armoire wardrobe and flat screen TV.The second bedroom is again beautifully furnished with a black velvet rococo inspired double bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, large chest of drawers, two fitted wardrobes and a flat screen TV.The sweet single bedroom is furnished with a cream rococo style single bed, bedside cabinet with drawers and lamp, and hanging peg rail.There is good size family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, basin and wc.On the second floor there is a gorgeous bedroom furnished with white rococo style double bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, chest of drawers, large walk in fitted wardrobe, leather Chesterfield armchair and flat screen TV. There is a shower en-suite with walk in shower, basin and wc.On the ground floor the lounge and dining area is at the rear of the cottage and has French doors. The lounge is furnished with a large L-shaped comfy sofa and dining table with 8 chairs. There is a mounted flat screen TV with freeview, wifi, DVD player and a Bose docking station.The modern kitchen enjoys a sunny aspect which is fully equipped and has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge and freezer and microwave (dishwasher unavailable at present).This leads you into a light hallway which houses the downstairs wc and utility cupboard with washing machine.There is a decked courtyard with black cast iron garden dining set with access that leads on to an added benefit of a private parking space securely positioned behind electric gates.

Oyster Bed Cottage is a great house in a great location in wonderful Whitstable. Owner Jodie was very helpful, swiftly answering the queries we had and recommendations we asked for. I hope we can return someday soon.

This most comfortable and spacious property could hardly be better situated between the beach and the high street. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable throughout. It even has its own parking space at the rear. The owner was extremely accommodating and responsive to all queries. A real find and we hope to return soon.

The cottage is lovely, comfortable and clean. My family was very comfortable and it is an ideal location from which to explore the area. The harbour, beach and High Street are all just outside your door and picturesque villages and towns including Canterbury are a very short drive away. Talk to the locals for the best places to eat, they help you avoid anything overpriced/overhyped. Owner was very responsive and accommodating.

How do damage deposits work?
