This wonderful, cosy restored seaside cottage is conveniently situated in the heart of Whitstable's conservation area with quick and easy access to all of the delights of this fashionable town. Less than 2 minutes walk to the picturesque beach and famous fishing harbour and just one minute's walk away is Whitstable's other gem — Harbour Street, renowned for its fascinating variety of independent shops. Here you'll find a range of restaurants, deli's, bookshops, cheese shops, cake shops, wine shops, ice cream parlours and art galleries. Carry on to High Street and Oxford Street for vintage shops, greengrocers, butchers, bakers, theatre and much more. A perfect base for holidays or weekend breaks for couples or families for four people. Dogs are very welcome too. Take a barbeque to the beach with a bottle of wine and enjoy a stunning Whitstable sunset. Nearby there are many other activities to choose from, such as tennis courts, bowling, golf, water sports and a swimming pool. This characterful period cottage provides comfortable open plan living/dining area featuring a large open fire in living room (logs not provided) and traditional furnishings, a comfy sofa bed, two double bedrooms upstairs (one with a double bed, the other with two singles). There are two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), a fully equipped kitchen and a quiet, private and secluded garden equipped with barbeque and garden seating and table for 4 people.

Flexible arrangements for collecting the keys. An Welcome Pack will be sent you just before your booking. The cottage is professionally and thoroughly cleaned between each letting. Pets are welcome but only downstairs and not on the sofa.

Dining area with extendable table and seating for 6. Kitchen with oven, hob, grill, microwave, fridge freezer, and washing machine. Bathroom downstairs with basin, shower and wc. Bedroom one with double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Bedroom two with two single beds, chest of drawers, hanging area. Bathroom upstairs with bath, shower, basin and wc.

There is a quiet, pretty, safe and secure private garden to the rear of the property with all that is needed to enjoy warm, sunny days or evenings outside. On street parking is available and there is a car park 50 yards from the cottage for daily use and a long term car park nearby.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Keith (the owner) a message.

If Keith (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
