“Perfect Little Cottage”

Reviewed 3 Oct 2017

We spent three nights in this comfortable, well appointed property. Beds were all comfortable and we had everything that we needed. The owner was helpful, responding promptly to all of our questions and check in and out was simple. The location is perfect for the town, beach and station. The only small potential problem with this property is parking.over weekend and at night it can be hard to find on street parking close to the property and long term car parks seem pricy. Would definitely book again

“Whitstable Weekend”

Reviewed 17 Jun 2017

We had a wonderful weekend at the Breakwater Cottage in Whitstable. We spent two nights at the cottage and it exceeded our expectations. The house is bigger than what we thought. The house comfortably sleeps 6 people. All cutlery and appliances are available for you to cook in although I would recommend eating out in Whitstable. She many great restaurants including the best seafood. Of the places we researched, Breakwater Cottage was by far the cheapest and represents excellent value for money. I would recommend this accomodation to any group of friends or family looking for a weekend away with minimal fuss.

“Great cottage with great location in a lovely town”

Reviewed 6 Jun 2013

I stayed here with my family (parents, wife, 1yr old) for two nights. The cottage was lovely - exactly as advertised - and we had a great experiencing dealing with Rafal and Kirsty. My favourite part was the little patio + garden out back with the BBQ. Great way to spend time on a nice summer day. The location of the flat is also excellent as its only a 5 min walk to the centre of town as well as the harbour. Lastly, the cottage itself was in superb condition - neat, clean, comfortable and with all mod cons. I would definitely stay there again if I were to visit Whitstable! The only suggestion for improvement I have would be to install wifi in the flat.

“Cosiest beds made it difficult to stay up after 9pm!”

Reviewed 28 May 2013

Lovely cottage, great location, in immaculate condition and very well equipped. The beds were so comfortable it was quite tricky going out in the evening, even though there is a great choice of restaurants just 5 minutes away, we loved the tapas one and the fish and chip shop. Deck chairs for the garden would have been welcome on the 2 days that it didn't rain but otherwise lovely, thank you for caring about your visitors Rafal.

“friendly, nice and convenient”

Reviewed 28 May 2013

Cottage was clean, very adequate for our needs and very handily located. We had a very nice time for my mothers birthday, and the house was fine for my young children. There was also a microwave which wasn't mentioned on trip advisor. We would go back. Kirsty, who we dealt with for entry and deposit was very nice, and kindly posted my wife's earrings which we left behind, thanks Kirsty.

“Great Location for town, station and the beach”

Reviewed 9 Apr 2013

Stayed at Breakwater Cottage for a long weekend and we didnt have to take the car out once ! From the cottage you can walk to the town (which has many restaurants) to the sea as well as to the railway station nearby . We also found a bowling alley within walking distance for when the weather took a down turn. The accomodation was clean and comfortable and we managed to stay warm even though the weather was freezing. My children 7 & 4 loved the bunkbeds ! We would definitely come back again , thanks for having us.

“Beautiful cottage in fantastic location”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2013

We had a lovely few days staying at Breakwater Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable, spacious and beautifully furnished. It is also located just a stones throw from the lovely boutique shop of Harbour Street. Perfect for a short break or a longer let, and ideal for young children.

“Excellent Location and fab House!!”

Reviewed 17 Dec 2012

Just spent the weekend at breakwater cottage with my partner and some friends! Excellent location literally a two minute walk from Harbour/ High Street. Fab house, had everything and more that we needed!! Loved the decor and the street. Super clean! Nice quiet area! The owner Mr Rataj was very efficient in his dealings with the booking, providing useful information about the property and local area as well as checking we had all we needed- nice friendly man! He was also very quick in arranging the return of damage deposit at the end of the holiday too. Would highly recommend!! :-)

“Excellent location for exploring Whitstable”

Reviewed 20 Nov 2012

We stayed at Breakwater cottage on Friday and Saturday night in Nov to find a beautiful cottage which was within a few mins walk to most of what Whitstable has to offer. Had execllent meals at Wheeers, Pearson's Arms and Lobster Shack. Rafal (the owner) also provided us with free logs for the fireplace which was very useful during for the cold nights. Bedrooms were good size, nicely decorated and had good beds / matresses. Kitchen was also fully equipped with lots of glasses and cutlery for use. Would definitely recommend staying here for a short break in Whitstable. Would be nice if wi-fi is added to the property as my vodafone 3G network did not work the whole weekend.

“excellent house, great location”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2012

I just spent a weekend in this house, and it exceeded all expectations. The house is decorated to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean. The log burner in the lounge was the icing on the cake!
