Harbourside Cottage is a fully restored, 3 bedroom, self-catering property, ideally located in the heart of the Whitstable's Conservation Area. It is full of original features including traditional fire in the lounge and each bedroom has it's own decorative character fireplace. It's only 5 minutes walk to the beach, harbour and high-street with it's boutique-style shopping and lively restaurants and pubs.
The cottage is immaculately presented and finished to the owners high standards. It combines to provide extreme comfort and a real 'home-from-home' living experience. Locally themed artworks are on display around the house. The combined kitchen and dining area, at the rear of the property, is our favourite as the main living area and has the benefit of good natural light all day and access directly onto the garden.
As well as enjoying the local beach and outside space, you can enjoy our beautiful and secluded 'beach-style' garden. It is complete with patio (outside furniture provided) and BBQ, where you can enjoy the sunshine from breakfast until late afternoon when you come off the beach (beach chairs are provided).
There is a light, spacious family-sized bathroom complete with toilet, bath and powerful shower and 3 beautiful double bedrooms all with comfy beds and furnished in a contemporary style.

"Excellent location, home from home!"
This was our second stay at Harbourside and it was just as lovely as the first. The property itself is spotlessly clean and has everything we needed for our young family. The location is fantastic, within minutes of the harbour, beach, shops and restaurants. We've never had a problem with parking and the street itself is actually very quiet even though it's so close to everything. Peter ensured there was a travel cot and a high chair which saved us a bit of space in the car, which always helps when packing for two under 4's! Whistable is a wonderful place but the cottage always makes our stay extra special. The owner has always been really accomodating and has done a great job at ensuring the little touches that make all the difference are in place. Both times we've visited we've been so lucky with the weather allowing us to make the most of Whitstable and the beach. We will definitely be returning to Whitstable and Harbourside! Thankyou for a great stay!

"Well located, comfy accommodation"
I spent the May half term in Harbourside Cottage with my partner and our 7-month-old, my parents and my 12-year-old brother, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is excellently situated within walking distance of everything Whitstable has to offer, yet the street is very peaceful. Inside the house is exactly as it appears in the photos - bright, clean and airy with all mod cons, including child-friendly plastic plates and cups in the kitchen. We especially liked the open-plan kitchen and dining area, the cosy lounge and the lovely back yard, while the friendly, efficient contact that I had with the owner was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

"Lovely house great location"
We stayed at harbourside cottage for a weekend. The house is situated a few minutes walk from the shops and the beach. Really good location. The house is beautifully decorated and was lovely and clean. We had all we needed for our stay. Thank you Peter will deffinatly come back. Wouldnt recommend for the elderly as stairs steep and bathroom on ground floor but for anyone else it's great.

"Perfect family getaway"
We stayed at Harbourside Cottage with 2 young children (4 and 1) and it suited our needs pertfectly. It was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated and the garden was great for the children. The open plan kitchen/dining area worked really well. The location was excellent, being a quiet street just off Harbour St and its lovely shops, and just a short walk from beach and harbour. We couldn't have asked for more from a Whitstable cottage for a short family break. We will definitely be back.

"This house has delightful energy"
This was my second stay at Harbourside cottage and it won't be my last. The house has a lovely energy about it which instils a sense of calm and relaxation as soon as you walk through the door. Perfectly placed for all the delights of Whitstable and a pleasure to return back to at the end of your days out

"Fantastic accommodation, clean and cosy. Walking distance to amenities, thankyou"
We had a lovely weekend at Harbourside Cottage. The cottage was spotless, very modern and had everything you would need. The children loved the garden, and the short stroll into town. We would definately stay there again, many thanks

"Beautiful cottage, great location & the sun shone... in March!!!"
The cottage has been restored to a high standard blending traditional features with modern living. We didn't make the most of the garden in March, but it's perfect for bbq after a day on the beach. Being a 5 min stroll into the thick of things it's ideal for a walk along the beach in either direction. Rose in Bloom pub nice setting & good value & the tea in the Orangery at Whitstable castle a real treat. Look forward to a return visit soon.

Harbourside Cottage is exactly as it appears in the photographs - spotlessly clean, sunny and tastefully furnished. The kitchen area is well equipped, the bathroom a treat, and the beds are really comfy. With all that Whitstable has to offer on the doorstep its hard to go wrong!
