Superb lodge for a relaxing break in the peaceful country side. Hope to visit again! Gillian is a congenial host.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind words: we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay, and would be delighted to welcome you back at any time

“5* Luxury”

Reviewed 16 Feb 2017

Woodside is a tardis. From the moment you step in through the door you realise how spacious it is. In summer it must be brilliant to open the bifold doors onto the decking. Gill and Neil are there to welcome you and show you around. It is fitted out to a very high standard including furnishings and equipment. A welcome basket of fruit, tea, coffee, sugar, juice, milk, biscuits await as does home made scones butter and jam! No effort to make your time there comfortable has been spared. Will be returning but without all the extras that I normally take to self catering accommodation.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your very kind words - we're delighted that you enjoyed Woodside Lodge so much and look forward to seeing you again - hopefully when the weather is better!

“Home from Home”

Lodge was first class accommodation. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. Binoculars were even provided to view the birds or the vast sky which you could see all the stars, clouds permitting. Set in lovely countryside, you do need to have a car to reach this lovely location. Good choice of local eating places, supermarkets in nearby Hexham. A very good location with many tourist attractions around Northumberland. Welcome pack was very nice, the homemade scones were delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again. We would certainly recommend this holiday location and all the reviews in the visitors book say the same as us. Book this lodge, you will not be disappointed!

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your very kind words: we do everything we can to ensure our guests do feel totally at home and are delighted that we succeeded. We'd love to welcome you to stay again .
