Lovely clean and well maintained cottage. Had everything we needed and more. Owners were very lovely and helpful too. Sad to leave but will be back soon :)

“family visit to arran wee blairbeg cottage”

Reviewed 26 Feb 2018

what a absolute treat the cottage was 5 star and had everything to keep a 4 year entertained. location was perfect for getting around and just popping across to the shops or the beach which my son loved on a chilled day after 3 days of walking. would highly reccommend and would like to come back again.

“Excellent base for our walking holiday.”

This cottage has everything we needed for our holiday, we chose to visit the Isle of Arran and we had planned six walks on the island that we found in a walking and trekking guide book. My son and I had a bedroom each both with T.V. and both are very comfortable rooms. The cottage is very clean and well equipped with washer, dish washer, cooker, fridge, freezer and microwave. There is full wi-fi and T.V. with DVD player. It was the perfect base for our holiday and I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

“Lovely wee cottage in beautiful location”

Spotlessly clean good value accommodation, in a great location with everything you need for a great holiday. Kitchen was very well equipped, bathroom was large with a good shower. Nice bedrooms but mattress not to my liking which made for a disturbed sleep.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the review, I appreciate the feedback about the mattress. Based on this I have decided to replace it with a new coiled sprung memory foam orthopaedic mattress. Hopefully you will find this more comfortable when you come back for another stay. Thanks again Diane

“Great accommodation”

This was a great wee house very compact but comfortable. Handy for whiting bay and just across the road from paper shop cafe and food takeaway. What more could you want?

“Well equipped, cosy wee cottage, definitely be back!”

My first visit to Arran and I wasn't disappointed, beautiful, tranquil island! Locals couldn't be friendlier - great wee cottage near shops and bus stop if required, a visit to the Drift Inn in Lamlash is a must! Can't wait to go back!
